Why open-hand doesn't work on wiretap ?

i don't think so since open handed states it increases aura read from you and your teammates AKA survivors and wiretap isn't based on a survivor

Yeah it's reading from the gen. Which isn't a survivor.

Gens are actually useful.

open handed does not state anything specific about aura from a survivor, literally just "Strengthens the potential in your and your team's Aura-reading abilities.
Open-Handed increases all Aura-reading ranges by 8/12/16 metres."

there is no reason why it shouldnt work with wiretap.
