AFAIK: The devs used to ban for this, but don’t anymore. YMMV, personally, I’d not use it at all except in very niche circumstances, and not for this game (or any online game I actually want to continue playing in the future).

I would care more about subtle speed hackers and other cheaters who actually harm this game than someone who use SAM and does not harm the game at all.

Well, if people care that much about achievements and cheating for them, they went looking online for cheats and I don't trust those people. Chances are high they cheat more or will, especially when they don't get caught.

Devs have banned for it in the past. Best bet is to ask them or risk it and find out :).

It would be stupid to ban for them since some achievements now pop while playing without meeting the requirements, some are buged so they would risk ban innocents, I doubt they still ban players for sam, it's even a ridiculous reason to ban for it.

Yeah, I think you are right about that, there have been too many bugged achievements maybe, although it is usually kinda obvious.

This isn't exactly accurate. I've seen people with unlocked achievements who play regularly. There isn't a system in place which automatically bans for unlocking achievements in DBD.

Do you have a source for your "you will 100% get banned" claim or are you just guessing?

I know for a fact that a irl friend of mine that is playing since 2018 used it and never got banned, it's not like they can detect it, I think now they don't even care anymore with so many glitched achievements that pop for no reason, if you are going to use Sam, just don't, it's not worth the risk, but if you do, just don't be stupid to make it obvious, if you have 4 achievements unlocked in the same time or more, anyone can tell you used it.
