Watch videos. Basically Ghost Face is a stealth killer. You won't hear his terror radious if you don't spot him and watch him for few seconds. In his stealth mode, he will watch the survivor for like 10 secs. When he finishes, you're alerted and during a short time he will be able to instant down you.

Thanks, just wondering how he is able to use his skill as a radar, even when hiding behind objects sometimes

When you stare at Ghostface to reveal him he'll hear the same noise and there will be a radial indicator of the general direction of the people looking at him. When you fully reveal Ghostface he'll be shown your exact position for a couple of seconds.

I can't remember what his add on's do. Some killers have add on's that allow them to see auras. I don't think he has one, but there are also a lot of perks that do that kind of thing. "I'm all ears" just so happens to be one of his own perks. There are so many perks and add on's it confuses people. Even makes them think they are cheating or something, but it's just a perk or add on. My guess is it was one of these things. His power could be used to spot survivors i suppose, but they would have to be in the open. Like Mikey. And ya, if you mean when you start to reveal him, even just by looking at him accidentally.. It lets him know which direction you are. And when you fully reveal him. It plain lets him know where you are like legion for a few seconds. But his power is gone for a while at least.

In other words It isn't always good to reveal Ghost face. Sometimes is better to let him walk and not look at him directly if you want to avoid him.
