Didn't work before and now only lasts 15s.
Someone did some number crunching on when its worth it though on the official forums where it isn't bad if you have 2 people. Using it on yourself is mostly useless or a time sink unless you roll a 20.
Its buff duration is too short currently most likely because the timer starts when you start playing when it should only start after you finish playing. There is also reports of some people saying that it will not work if there is some hex perks going on but that I am not 100% if its unrelated issue to the first.
The perk was totally broken when Lara Croft came out as it did not give any buff at all and they fixed it to Castelvania release but not totally.
Or make it you know, actually play a song rather than a 5th graders strumming like 5 notes like they're confused and have never seen the instrument before.
they dont want us enjoying anything other than the gameplay, much less serenading the killer (which we will still do)
It actually has many uses that i think some people dont realise. 1 Being that it shows your aura to other survivors when your playing it, which can actually be used to your advantage, especially in end game.
Heres some Scenarios, Someone in chase, you 99 gate, and then play bardic which reveals your aura, and if the survivor noticed you were 99in a gate and then see your aura, they can beeline towards you.
Second scenario, your last survivor, killer running straight at you, instead of running just look em dead in face, then play guitar. Can't even tell the amount of times ive had hatch given because of that XD.
its an ok perk imo. Better than Weaving Spiders imo. And if you can play it next to a gen where 2+ survivors are working and you get a lucky high roll, that gen progress can actually fly pretty fast.
