Problem with Nvidia filters in dbd

I was using nvidia filters for the last year and everything was fine, but since the last update it always says "you need a compatible game for this" and i don't know how to fix it bc the game is quite unplayable with all that darkness in every map, i can barely see anything specially in maps like Autoheaven. Someone had this problem before or knows how to fix it?

Updated EAC doesn't support Nvidia filters.
We don't know if it's temporary or not.
But you still can use ReShade.

oh so that was why i couldn't use it, thanks for the info mate, i will use ReShade then

They removed the ability to use game nvidia filters because it gave advantages in some situations

The game is so dark without them. It just looks bad.

no way Sherlock, but even if is a scary game i wanna see where i am going, the game in some maps is really really dark, to the point that sometimes you can't see anything, and that's is a huge problem if ur facing killers like ghostface bc you won't be able to see him

Looks fine to me by setting the left icon to be barely visible. Maybe it's your monitor, or maybe you expect dark things to look bright. The game has mostly positive rating, that is not bad

Idk what's the problem on using filters, actually a lot of ppl uses them, almost every streamer or youtuber uses them and is totally normal bc the game looks even better, but ofc if u don't wanna you're free to don't use them

I think sharpness looks good, idk why I never bothered running it. And yes it's common in multiplayer games for people to try making props more distinguishable.
Now, can you explain why some people run the game on shades of pink and with washed out modded icons? nvm

Ill never understand filters/reshading play the game the way it was meant to be played.. Think when it looks like Willy Wonkas chocolate factory you are not even in the same game. Obviously there is a game advantage or people wouldnt do it just like the widescreen bs years ago.. it makes my game look better yeah ok

whats always wild to me about this is how ppl complain about it being TOO DARK

bro i use filters to make the game even DARKER when playing Survivor, its TOO BRIGHT compared to what i fell in love with 7 years ago
