Haunted by Daylight: A Killer's Guide to Farming BP

Alright, so this is specifically for killers (there will be a ton of angry survivors in the comments here), this is how you get 70k+ BP every single match.

At first I absolutely hated this game mode, with a passion. It can be very difficult to win in, provides survivors a lot of outs or ways to avoid your killer's mechanics (do not play Sadako or Trapper in this please for the love of god, or Ghost Face), very frustrating at times.

However, there are opportunities that I had not been properly exploiting.

Take the Arcane Dowsing Rod Offering. Play the game like normal, but frequently return to the void to toss points into the center, even wasting your ability if you must (particularly if you have 1 charge) to farm more points. If you slug someone in the void, that is where they stay. So if you are down to the last 2 people, I'd recommend leaving 1 guy slugged in the void, and kill the guy on the outside (you'll know instantly if he enters the void to try and rescue the other).

With the last guy trapped in the void, you are free to go and farm for several minutes. Cap out your points, then return for the free mori.

Keeping in mind that for some reason survivors will INSIST on going to the void under these circumstances, which makes it incredibly easy to pull off. There's no way to force them into the void, but if they go willingly, it doesn't usually make sense to hook them.

You can actually deposit souls in the void well even if you still have 1 haunted ghost charge left, so if you have a full bar you can go in, get the power, instantly use 1 charge and deposit again for more points and refill the power. You need to deposit around 6 times to max out the event score meter assuming you smash some pumpkins along the way. Opening portals also counts as depositing souls so you get up to 1500 points based on how much of the portal you personally charged, though you wont get the 1000 point bonus you get from obtaining the ghost power.

Yes, because that’s what this event needs: MORE sweatlord killers playing for their own fun/max points/XP, and screw everyone else. I had nothing but absolutely miserable matches solo survivor side today and shut the game off.

Almost EVERY single game has been bully squads. And so my compassion went out the window.

I mean, killers who use this as an excuse to sweat aren't actually tryna farm points. You can get way more points by hooking all survs twice and then just ignoring them (aside from kicking gens). Killers who are just sweating in the event mode are tryna farm ego if anything lol

I got 65k points last match, the survivor with the most points got 8k.

I'm 100% doing it for the points.

Now I could do it without killing anyone most likely, and during the anniversary event that is exactly what I did.

Have dealt with too many toxic survivors between now and then to show even an ounce of compassion. I will get my 4k, because I am aiming for that either way, but I will also get my bloodpoints.

65k is really low if you got a 4k in the event. Should be getting between 75-90k with a 4k if your are playing for points

Not for a game that doesn't last more than 2-3 minutes.
