LOL there was nothing wrong with distortion before the nerf. Only bad killers complain about it.
Lethal pursuer + BBQ & chili are unhealthy for the game.
The problem is you're going to get aura reads constantly, regardless of any other strategies. There's nothing wrong with stealthy survivors other than killers have been using aura reading as a crutch to immediately find people instead of actually having to look and listen.
That's pretty rare in my experience. And those types of players will just find other ways to sandbag the team.
-> it's healthy that it got nerfed because it countered to many Killer perks at once
-> it's unhealthy that it got nerfed because it has to be stronger considering how many Aura reading perks you can equip (way to weak now)
Maybe the solution lays somewhere between.
In my experience, they don't give up even when I do loop. I recently tried that with Wiretap and Repressed Alliance in the Preschool's boiler room with a nurse and despite being able to see her, she wouldn't go bother someone else during the entire duration of Wiretap, thus I couldn't get anything done. However, I do agree that those that use it shouldn't be throwing their teammates under the bus for nothing. If anything, Distortion should be tied to two things: 1.) Generator repair progress and 2.) Healing survivor health states. Start with two tokens, but can earn up to a max of five.
