Nvidia Instant Replay - Keeps switching off on its own?
Anyone has a solution?

I started trying Nvidia Instant Replay instead of OBS Streamlabs to record my games on DBD. I don't like to record all the time, which resulted in missed evidence for reporting cheaters and missed clips for memorable content. So I started recording more often. But I often forgot to stop recording on OBS Streamlabs - which often resulted in mega-sized 12+ hr files in my video folder. So, Nvidia Instant Replay was supposed to be the solution.

It worked well sometimes.

But too often, Nvidia Instant Replay switched off on its own mid-game. In my latest session today, I noticed it switched off on its own after I finished healing someone.

My PC's available free space isn't an issue.

I've been having the same problem as well and I figured it's a dbd thing because it only happens on dbd. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Mr Raft. I thought you were perfect. But, since I am here. Are you running in Full Screen or Windowed Full Screen in the game settings. I stopped using NVIDIA and went to OBS, because the NVIDIA app does not like alt-tabbng between windows. You need to be in full screen. Generally i was told to always make sure the game res, and desktop res were set the same and were a standard thing, like 720p. It also means the playback is full screen, not black bars around the edges..

I gave up on NVIDIA. I recall that you can also get cut off issues, if you change where you save the recordings too, from the default setting.
Thanks for your input. I don't think I want to play full screen. I guess I'll have to give up on Nvidia Instant Replay as well.

Oh. I haven't tried it with other games. So I can't say if it's a dbd only thing. But anyway thanks for commenting here. Good to know someone else experienced the same issue.

I had something similar when I alt-tabbed on fullscreen. I'm not sure what the issue was, but updating the driver fixed it. I usually play on windowed fullscreen and haven't tried fullscreen since. I don't have issues with alt-tabbing.

I FOUND WHAT FIXED IT FOR ME!!!
It was an issue with going onto any streaming site like Netflix or Hulu etc. Instant replay disables when you go onto these sites, to fix it just disable desktop capture and it shouldn't turn off anymore.
