Streamers & People With TTV In Username

I don't watch anyone stream anything (just not my cuppa). That said, what I've found myself doing since playing Dead By Daylight is checking out any players channel out that has "TTV" in their username to see how popular they are.

Have you ever played with/against anyone who's a big streamer? If so, what's the biggest sub count?

The largest I've played with is about 300-ish and against is 1K followers on Twitch (I won).

maybe 10. most are degenerates not even worth watching. weirdest group of streamers ive ever seen. twisted and backwards. i never unhook them.

As above, I don't watch anyone steam anything so I have no opinion on them (I don't know them so that's that).

The weirdest occurrence is when people put TTV in their name but they aren't streaming and when confronting about it they are like "Oh I don't want people to stream snipe me so I put TTV in my name when I'm not streaming and no TTV in my name if I am." What kind of backwards logic is that? Why bother watching you stream if you're not streaming. Why advertise your stream if you aren't doing anything?

Also DBD is kinda hard to streamsnipe The delay means you can never truly know exactly where they are and the audio overlap could be confusing.

No, if they have TTV in the name I leave the lobby. Why? The majority of the time the person is extremely toxic and plays like a potato.

I wouldn't imagine steam snipping is genuinely much of an issue for the vast majority. If it did happen, it'd be like one match I imagine outta who only knows how many.

The game attracts a specific mindset.
It's literally designed to send groups of friends into a 4v1 against a random loner, arm them with broken mechanics and encourage killer bullying to no consequences.

There's a reason why "skilled SWFs" are laughing at the end of the games they win, while killer mains are sweating bullets.

The developers do nothing but punish people who play the killer, and they suddenly grow quiet or dismissive when you confront them with evidence. It's this game's worst kept secret, but trolls love to pretend otherwise.

i've played with and against several "big name" streamers. the last one i played with before i quit was spooks n jukes. he usually has upwards of 2.5k viewers at a time. kinda find it super ironic how he always talks about people talking down on others and then does the same to me in a match. while he was streaming and then was about to leave me to die in a match on my first hook after i went fully out of my way to go help him escape when he would have died if i hadn't. called him out on it on his stream and he did apologize for it. i also like to do the same thing from time to time just to see their reactions to things or their general mood about the match.

i've also gone against someone who said they "stream for a living" (with their whole 6 viewers and 40 sub count...) who was claiming the only reason they tunneled and threw the whole entire game was because i put her on rpd and the person they were tunneling said they were "t bagging and flash light clicking every chance they got." so i went back through the vod and watched the entire match. none of what they were claiming was true. idk why people are like this.

I've met a few people who say stuff like this in real life.

They've so far always been unemployed with little to no motivation in life. I suspect they do it because it feels like it gives them a purpose that elevates them in life. A purpose that makes them feel good about themselves.
