Houndmaster Chase is just bad

Search is cool and Houndsense is good, but Chase is just abs useless. It's horrendous to try and land, and from what I've seen, it is incredibly easy to break free.

from playing her i can agree that the chase needs a lot of work, it needs more detection otherwise you miss.

When I get someone with a chase, I find the power incredibly useful - it's like deathslinger's chain except you can take another action (hit another survivor) while the chain is pulling. If the dog would stop getting stuck on walls so often I think it'd actually be really powerful.

That's the issue, it doesn't have detection (least it doesn't look like it). It's just if the survivor is in the path. Not even asking for a Houndsense size radius, probably a bit smaller. It just feels way too much like Knight did; Aspect of power is useless because the detection is just non-existent for the most part

The hound is just too stupid. It passes next to the survivors in sarch mode and will do nothing. In chase mode it is not more inteligent than the crows of Artist, but with much narrower hitbox. I don't understand why the dog have to be this stupid, while the key concept would have been to have a companion who helps you, but doggo feels lifeless and more like a bullet shot from a gun, then a live compation.

Usually BHVR creates a mashup of different killer abilities I've noticed.

This is basically just a worse version of Chain Hunt, an ability that rarely anyone used on a killer almost nobody plays.

Don't understand what they were thinking.
