Only some forum-posts....
Balance is also not as bad as people like you like to claim.
this is a perfectly balanced game
get out of here
i could see them nerfing survivor once then people would quit in protest. i only recently got back into the game after a 3+yr break and damn some of these survivors rage quit, rage in post and go afk for the smallest of things. luckily im having fun regardless but this is quite early in my playtime so i can see it giving the game a very bad light/experience for the newer players.
it'll by no means die but i think newer players might have some trouble sticking around
The sheer number of players says nothing at all. Players who log in to collect bonuses or only play a game for the Daily Quest should be excluded from the statistics. Only then do you see the number of really active players and this number decides whether a game lives or dies.
Well there are 60k ppl playing just right now ON STEAM only, don't even count all the consoles etc...
Yes it's dying for sure...
Players who are annoyed by the game, but still do the dailies (if they can be done quickly) to collect points in the event that the game gets better at some point, are not uncommon.
These players play a maximum of 1 round a day, but still appear in the statistics.
the idea that people come to play an event isn't no. but the idea they'd play more than a single day is. and if the stats people claim was over a good few hours then your statement still wouldn't matter since they wouldn't come on in shifts :/
It is true that these players are playing enough to keep the game alive. But this kind of player is very easy to put off.
A single mistake by the developer can be enough. If the Boon totems really come (and these are really as beneficial as is feared) some killers will go and if these Boon totems also work particularly well with SWF, Behavior will have to start programming KI killers.
