Blurry game
Hello,

Just updated my game with the latest patch and my game has gone blurry. I switch from Ultra to Low and back again, restarted my PC, verify files and check auto adjust to on then off. It's like i'm playing at 1080p/720p on my 4k TV.

Any one know how to fix this issue?

Apparently in the update brief it said repaired a bug that automatically set it to 4K res. You may need to go to settings and select 4K resolution.

Turn off AA if your game is blurry..

Go down to Windows Search and type "%localappdata%" without the "".

Go into the folders named "DeadByDaylight" > "Saved" > "Config" > "WindowsNoEditor" and open the "Engine" file.

Copy paste the following to the bottom of the file:

[/script/engine.garbagecollectionsettings]

r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0

Solved it by changing preferredscreenheight to my screen resolution

Where did you go to change the preferredscreenheight? Its not in my engine file. Also on 4k and my game is blurry af

Well nvm. All I did was open my engine file then launched the game and its clear. Literally didnt change any setting

Make sure windows DPI is set to 100% and nothing else, It seems like this update broke DPI detection and just gives you an incorrect res if you don't have it set to default

Right click on the game's exe, check "disable fullscreen optimizations" in the compatibility tab. That's it.

Thank you Batandy. Changing it to 100% fixed it. It's unfortunate I have to do this every time I play the game.
