The game mode seems to have made a strong impression on the community. With the other game modes they have in the future, it would be beneficial for the devs to have a weekly roll of different game modes, like Halo MCC does. Keeping it permanent would divide the player base. It already is now with the queue times
I can't say out loud that I play very well, it always depends on the situation, on the place where the killer finds you and so on, sometimes you can fall quickly, and sometimes run away so as to give your team the opportunity to start generators.
but I can say that my gaming experience in this game is more than 5 thousand hours and I know how to play and read the game, when and how it is better to do.
why am I saying all this... because when I play on the survivor (this is my main side for which I play), in 90 percent of the matches I am given very bad players who do nothing in the game, or do things that are not needed to win (cleaning empty totems, looting chests, hiding in the bushes on the edge of the map).
clarification: I am a solo player.
and the game for a solo player is terrible in normal mode.
but in the 2-8 mod, if you are given newbies who do nothing, this can be fixed (with luck) by players who understand how to play and keep the killer busy for a while, or start generators themselves.
adding new killers + maps + giving the opportunity to place your offerings (at least for points), or give more points for this mode.
I don't know, that's my opinion.
why did many games that wanted to compete with DBD have some success only at the beginning? such as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, for example.
because there you can play with friends for both sides, and here playing for the killer places all the responsibility on one player. if you lose, then there is no one else to blame and for some players this is a stress factor (for example, me), that's why I don't play for the killers.
but in the new mode, I managed to play a couple of games with my partner and it was amazing and fun.
Yes. I completly agree.
Personally i don't mind it, i think it's a good addition to the game. The long queue times seriously needs to be adressed though. I don't wanna wait too long for one match.
