The current fnaf games don't fit with dbd at all but the previous games do, before scott started working with studios.
William Afton is the character with the most disturbing story in the fnaf franchise, someone who fits perfectly well in DBD with all the other killers.
We've seen the fnaf community do amazing stuff with the franchise, games and youtube vids (what they call VHS), behavior will probably adapt the character as best as they can in the game so it looks good. I'm sure they announced it for 2025 for a reason, they wanna make this right.
