[SOLUTION TO QUEUE TIMES FOR 2v8]

I know I will get flamed for this by killer mains but really, waiting 20-35 minutes to play a game that might last 3-4 minutes shouldn't be a thing and I hope every sane person here agrees.

First they should extend 2v8 since a lot of people want to play it seemingly, and after they figure out what's up with their servers they should make it so killers can't queue over and over as killer. If you play as a killer you should be locked out for an hour from queuing again as a killer to deflate the wait time. Clearly awarding 400% BP on survivors isn't enough of an incentive to make killer mains play survivor.

Don't hate on me, if you have a better idea come out with it.

Perfect way to get people to kill themselves as soon as possible. Just make it so having escapes gives you priority in queue

True, well, in that case just lock them out for an hour I guess to relieve the queue times so no point trying to play the system, you are out for an hour, that's about 5 times less killers in queue at a time.

Or add skill expressions for survivor so it's fun. It's just kill fodder on steroids at this point.

Saying something is a bad idea without offering a better alternative is really helpful, thanks for your input, it's highly valued coming from a person who'd rather open up a game and wait 30 minutes to play it instead of implementing sane measures so they can just queue up and play within a matter of seconds.

They could always give some sort of priority pass to people that play 2 games (or however many) as survivor when they enter the killer queue. They would probably need to require a certain amount of playtime and points acquired so people can't just throw the game or idle.

I'd rather play a couple of games as survivor than waiting 15 minutes while watching videos.

Yeah you do. Me do also. But we have to understand there are some people that dont want to. SO that was my advice for those kind of people. Nobody will play something they dont enjoy. I was trying to say use the queues in something you would like or find interesting. Because there is not solution.

Yeah you do. Me do also. But we have to understand there are some people that dont want to. SO that was my advice for those kind of people. Nobody will play something they dont enjoy. I was trying to say use the queues in something you would like or find interesting. Because there is not solution.

You can use the wait time to do something you find interesting, like PLAYING ANOTHER GAME or playing KILLER IN NORMAL QUEUE WHILE YOU WAIT FOR YOUR TIMER. How can you not understand this? Being locked in queue is more limiting than being locked out of it for a similar time.

Nah, Gorgon made a great point against that, no priority queues or any fancy stuff, just make it so killers have to wait before they queue again and that will relieve the queue times by itself.

Yes please, make it a double queue, so it seems there is not a queue. Rather than qeue, call it bananas. Problem fixed :D

The reason the killer queues are so long is because there is a limited number of slots and plenty of people are only queuing as a killer. I'm sure some people would like the variety in going back and forth and it's probably better for the longevity of the game.

If done correctly, killer only people would only have a slightly longer queue while people that are willing to play survivor have a shorter queue.

No matter what you do, there will always be one side that is almost instant, and the one in demand has a qeue (or queu, lol, I always spelled it wrong xD).

The more or less queu is just depending on the amount of people willing to play it. Devs are doing what they can (making x5 Bloodpoints if you play survivor, which indeed is nuts, indeed many killer mains are just playing sdurvivor because of that reason only).

Maybe its time to give even more.

And this is why some games end up with afk killers.

They could also lock people out but the complaints are going to be neverending. I just think that it would be healthier for the game if people were incentivized to also play as a survivor, as it would create a LARGER POOL of survivors to speed things up.
