game closes after launching

Today after 2 days break from dbd, launched it and on the 2nd screen my game just closes. Anyone got same problem or know solution? Verified game files - didn't help.

Check if your anti-virus has not removed the game exe or blocked it. Another is to try to repair the EAC. Go to the Dead by Daylight install location -> EasyAntiCheat folder and click the EasyAntiCheat_setup.exe and chose repair.

1. If you just changed your profile name, (IRL) or avatar, change them back.
2. Verify the files. (Steam / settings)
3. Find the game files on the computer. Specfically find the DeadBydaylight. exe. then right click. Run as Admin.
4. Go to steam tab. Select: go offline, then reverse it "go online".Now "go offline" again. But now "Log out" of steam. (not change account). Then Shut down the whole computer (off, not restart). Then restart the computer, and "Log in" to steam and "Go online".
5. "De-authorise other devices" by going to Steam/settings / security) Be aware you will need the verifcation details to get back in (phone, e-mail or whatever verification set up you have on the account).
6. Find the game files on the computer. Find the "DeadBydaylight. exe". right click. Run as admin.
7. Uninstall Dead By Daylight. Re-install it somewhere else. A diferent drive, (external or interal). Before starting find the original install point, and delete the xisting files. Be aware you will loose all screenshots if you do this. You can back them up by going to the game tab and finding the files. Or through the front page of the game, find the screenshot section and follow the path to see the screenshots on the computer.
8. Re-install steam, having done the above. But be aware, you can loose all saves and screenshots for all the games on the steam if you do this. So you would need to back them up firs..

Minor things:
a. If you are logged into another computer, on Steam, log out. The de-authorise step should do this for you, but if you can actively get to the other computer easily, just go there an unlog. Make sure you sign out of of steam, not use the change account function. (e.g. more than one account on one computer and the seat built log in choice of account screen).

Not sure any of this will help. But good luck.

Other's will usually say, to make sure graphics card drivers are up to date. You might want to check, or uninstall and re-insall them. But beware that you could loose existing settings and data for them if you do. So might want to note the settings.

Check that discord isn't running in the backround as it causes the game too crash

Or he had the game exe still running so it can't launch the game again because its already running. So when he restarted it was finally closed down. Some times programs and games don't close fully and stay in the task manager still running.

i reinstalled game, so it wasn't running
first time this issue, so was confused..

Ok, found the problem..
Its caused by another game ''Tarisland'' after playing it, dbd just closes after 2nd screen and PC needs to be restarted.
