Yep, maybe its a skill issue; but it doesn't make i any more 'fun'. And i'm certain that me as a top 5% killer main, who does not enjoy it, feels the same way as many others.
RCP is fine if DBD was played 'organically'. No comms, with randoms... like it's designed to be played. Theissues with balancing begin when TS3 or Discord get introduced to the mix. Sure, there's no rules against it and people use it openly; it would also be INCREDIBLY difficult to police.
I mean, we don't even have proxy chat; jut to give you a clue on the original design goals I'm guessing were in play here; think about it as subjectively as possible, if you can. If SWF had no comms, maps would be balanced; but with comms, the game swings hugely in the SWF's favour at the highest levels.
The 'proof' in that is that at high levels of play 'fun' and interesting Killers go out the window (some people confuse 'sweat' with fun, here) and it becomes about movemnt killers to get downs as fast as possible.
I just got back into the game; and when people realise how absolutely BUSTED Singuarity and Lich are; you might realise what I mean. I have builds that lean into them real hard and they are easily better than Nurse, for me at least. Why? because I can almost insta-down. Chases last less time than Bloodlust1.
