Ormond changed for no reason
The map is completely ruined with big deadzones, they just love changing maps at a whim to suit brand new killers who probably don't even have 100 hours in the game yet. it's more shameless and blatant these days compared to before. Another map to now avoid in the web, which will soon be close to all of them on survivor side.

It's because the map is widely known to be one of the worse maps in the game but the developers don't get why it's bad, so they just shuffle it around and hope it's fixed. They'll probably try again in 4 years.

Same thing happened to haddonfield recently when they put random gaps and holes all around the myers house and unsafe pallets in the houses across. A map that already has big deadzones 🤡

They didn't change it, they added two new versions. You can still roll the one that's survivor sided. Haven't played on the new ones yet so can't comment on them explicitly, but I will say dead zones can work both ways... They make for easy flashlight saves and you can also see the killer coming from a mile away. Most common map offerings I generally see SWFs use are Withered Isle / Ormond / Autohaven. Used to see a lot of Haddonfield before it got changed as well.

I think currently there is only two versions in the game as I have not heard anyone getting the other new map. I have played the one that is available and it feels decent. It has one deadzone and the shed is little bit out of the way as its surrounding tiles are not that interesting and you can't combine them that well. I would say it might be little bit sided for the killer but its noway bad map.

Don't think any new map can be as bad as the version of Borgo we got with the D&D chapter 🤢

They get changed only because a brand new baby doesn't like the map and they're the only ones they balance for..

Most maps are now changed to have large dead zones.
On the other hand, if you play this game for a long time now you would appreciate some change.

The Idea for making Haddonfield and Ormond less of a automatic Survivor Win was good but the Execution is very bad

It was never automatic win, just a skill issue on the killer side.
