Dedicated server not responding

So... it started yesterday. I was trying to play with my usual swf, we loaded into a match, spent more or less 60 seconds in it, then got disconnected because of the "dedicated server not responding". Since it happens from time to time, we requeued, but then it happened again and again. We tried to split, play one game in soloq, and discovered i was the problem, i was the one getting disconnected from the server. So, just to test, i decided to play killer. Everything went fine for many many games, never got disconnected. Then decided to go back to survivor, and there i was again, disconnected from server. Same issue keeps going this morning as well.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue? I literally can't play survivor (which is the main reason i play this game), just killer, and it's pissing me off so much :(

It's happened to me on two different occasions as killer. Haven't really tested it as a survivor yet. Dunno what's up but it's aggravating.

This has happened for years occasionally and spiked last year in february, now its more rare again but still happens.

I started playing this game in 2021 and even back then this was an issiue. Not like the devs attempted to fix it since. I believe their servers are too old or something, idk. Its not on your end and its annoying af i know. But there is nothing you can do, i have done a ton of tickets on the matter and none of em have been answered, so i pretty much gave up on the issiue.

I know there were a few bumps where it was extremely common, but yeah, seems like it's back.

9 years what do you expect? Them to fix bugs and have a polished product? Nooo make it 15 years

its just mind boggling to me how minority of players is complaining about this. Community rather has fruitless debates around tunneling and camping.

I really hate it. I'm trying to play at different times of the day and it never changes, actually i'm getting disconnected from server earlier and earlier (we're talking about even 20 seconds into the game). It's been 3 days now, is there nothing i can do to fix it? Should i just wait for it to fix itself when bhvr decides to take a look at this issue and hope for the best?

To answer your question: Yes.

BHVR has failed to fix this issiue for years, they seem to not care about it as there wasnt even any form of acknowledgement for it. They will gaslight by saying its the internet connection (while other online games are smooth as butter) or they will ghost you by ignoring your tickets. Been through this dance a dozen times and pretty much gave up on it. Whenever it becomes more rampant i just quit playing dbd for a couple of weeks until its better.

Update: with some other gamer's help, i managed to fix it. It seems related to dead hard/dead hard challenges. I had one selected when I started to have problems, now that i switched for some different one, it fixed and I'm not crashing anymore. Hope this can be of some use, dead hard is hella bugged. It also negates endurance off hook to the survivors who have it in their builds.

Hate to say it, but this might be a case of correlation not leading to causation. I've not had a dead hard challenge selected in a long while.

the dead hard deactivating endurance is a diffrent issiue than the "servers not responding" bs. Its been out here for so long while the dead hard issiue is new since the latest patch.
