It's awful and false advertisement. Once you complete a generator, your generator progress meter goes back to normal. The perk description does not tell you that. It's not even worth scavaging for chests just for that tiny bit of progression for only one generator. The progression should persists for all generators.

24 charges permanently off all gens for ONE skill check? HELL. NO. It never says in the perks description that it affects every gen to begin with how is that false advertisement lmao

If this was how it worked, four players bringing the perk and all bringing coins for more chests - boom, the game is over literally in two minutes. No fun, no actual work, no nothing.
They would have to rename the perk to "Free escape".

It's working exactly as expected, and will most likely still get a slight nerf in the future because 24% permanent progress on one gen just for looting chests is BIG!

I don't see how its misleading when it clearly states that it "permanently reduces the Repair Charges requirement of that Generator". I don't see how they could make that more clear.

Its currently way too powerful perk as people like to still use the event offering for bloodpoints that also spawns additional chest to the match. So if everyone in the match uses that offering you get total of eight chests. Having Appraisal you can get maximum value of 16 tokens that makes 64 charges and if the killer has Hoarder for some reason thats two more chests making it 20 tokens and 80 charges. If that would be able to be put on all gens would make it ridiculous.

Perk is "useless" as the vittorio gen save perk. Sounds interesting on first glance, but when you play it, it's not worth.

Why? The hypothetical charges are resulting from eight chests and scavanging... which ACTUALLY takes time and finding em. Those 20 seconds (10s opening, 10s scavenging) you just sit on a gen and run more valuable perks. So doing those at max is 160 seconds. This is nearly the same time as two gens. So what are we talking about...

Edit: I just looked at the details again

If you want to gain 6 tokens, you need to open/scavenge 6 chests. This takes 60s pure bar time. And what do you get? 24 charges are ~22 seconds. So doing 3 times other things than the objective (doing gens) is not efficient; it's basically trolling. And if you scale it to the higher chest amounts it's getting even more ridiculous.

Or did I miss smth?

you get charges that can't be removed from the gen ever. So that gen is for the rest of the match faster to fix.

And players basically doing 3 times not the objective to get that? Killers have 3 times more time to chase a person?

I don't see a scenario where it is actually valuable (especially since the endless gen kicking got nerfed).
