i see so many people with custom icons, and i wanna know if you can get banned, if you use them

You can get banned by EAC, but at the same time you won't. It's currently 50/50 % chance, do you like playing with fire? Then go ahead

are you sure, is it even a reason to ban, its not cheating or something

Generally, the files you replace to use those custom perks/items/pfps aren't what EAC looks for/scans so it shouldn't flag at all. The reason ppl state, "use at your own risk" is because due to the Terms of Use you agree to for most products including DBD, if you edit/change anything in the original product- it can mess up your game/product or in DBD's case, EAC might randomly flag you ('cos nothing is impossible), so in that case BHVR has no legal obligation to help you out of a situation you willingly entered into. Again, EAC does not go over those files because that's not what it's looking for. But nobody can 100% give you assurances that nothing will ever happen. I've used custom perks/items for 5-6 years, I think, and have had no issues. Even if it could happen, there haven't been any documented cases of anyone being banned for using custom perks/items/pfps in DBD that I've heard/read of.

I only used one time cosmetics mods on Resident Evil 2 remake, but wouldn´t risk on a multiplayer one. It´s my advice.
