how to deplete medkit?

i have a challenge for depleting one medit. I self healed with claudette twice, and healed another player once or twice and i still have it. It never depleted after all that. Is it cause i used white ward?

And you did all that with the medkit or your bare hands? You have to M2 to actually use the medkit.

If you want to deplete it faster, have botany equipped

Just use a brown one and search chests after that one is depleted and hope for another to get the challenge in one round (I'm assuming it's more than 1 you have to deplete that's why I suggested the chest too)

Edit to add: could also run dramaturgy to get a medkit from mid round

idk i use controller I thought there was only one button, RB. Also am i doing generators correctly? just going up to them and pressing RB to use toolkit? same way if you don't have a toolkit?

Try using built to last, it activates only on depleted items. It lets you progress 4 times for the deplete challenge

No. You have to use a different button to use your items, toolbox or not. The appropriate button is shown when you can repair or heal someone with your held item.
