New Babysitter will remove the last effective strategy killers had.
Goodbye tunneling. Now the game is straight up unplayable for killer.

Prepare to lose gamers. Regardless of what survivors say, this is the end of winning for killer against anyone even semi-competent.

Keep in mind it is a +10% to the ALREADY EXISTING HASTE EFFECT.

This means it will make you faster than the killer for 30 seconds. People are going to use it to avoid getting tunnel'd OR to take free protection hits for their teammates.

no one likes being tunneled if they arent running anti tunnel builds
there is 0 problem making babysitter actually good since its a dumpster perk right now, making a viable anti tunnel tool you can apply to your team like BT is the best outcome possible

killers need to be punished for tunneling instead an easy gg 4k because solo queue teammates, BT and babysitter will finally allow people to get to play the game more

im gonna laugh when killers that complain about it realize it wont matter if youre against soloq, who probably wont ever run it because teamplay perks arent exactly something soloq always does

Such a challenge to actually learn how to play

This honestly sounds like a great change to me even though I mostly play killer. Tunneling should be punished and it's even better that survivors can use this perk to "babysit" their friends who might be new to the game and not have access to perks to combat tunneling or are just trying to have a fun game where they don't spend most of it watching from a hook.

I agree killers should be punished for tunneling, but there is literally no other way to slow the game down effectively. Slugging has been nerfed into the ground, healing is easier than ever so hit and run won't work... What is the killer supposed to do?

This perk has no effect on killers who don't tunnel to begin with. Why not split your hooks across two different survivors, instead? Just a little bit more effort but so much more safer than tunneling.

Besides that, slugging is still a thing too? If you really want to tunnel someone out and they managed to hide thanks to this perk, just start slugging the others in order to force them out of hiding. They will need to help the team recover if you can get 2 slugs, which gets you back on track to tunnel them out.

Not trying to give ideas, but killers have been doing this since forever, this is nothing new to toxic playstyles and won't change a thing imo

This just means even less reason to hook people and more reason to slug, or you tunnel out the person/people with the perk meanwhile thats a perk slot not used for prolonging chases or doing objectives.

Finally someone agree with me, that Babysitter is an anti-tunnel perk <3

Tunneling is rarely, if ever, actually needed, not even against SWF. But you do need to end chases quickly (~15 seconds), pursue other targets of opportunity and keep applying gen pressure.

Really good teams will want the killer to try to tunnel their best looper. Usually that one survivor that comes right to you and is trying to lure you away from everyone else, then leads you on a merry chase for 2-3 minutes while everyone else knocks out gens.

I don't have an issue with babysitter (it is part of my general build even when I solo-queue), and this won't change anything for me when I play killer.

You act as if survivors loop anymore. W key is the meta.

Against lower skill survivors. Those who are really good at looping will keep the killer at a favorable loop or structure for as long as possible. Just holding 'w' makes them an easy target and will bring the killer to other survivors.

Good survivors do not loop until absolutely necessary as it is safer and wastes the killer's time more efficiently. Why would you put yourself in harm's way if you don't need to?

That might work if they know they're not running to other survivors and the killer is slow (or just bad at anticipating). But there are plenty of killers that won't work against.

Do you understand that this perk will destroy B- tier killers and will make zero changes for A+?
