2. Off the record
3. Something for info or help in some situations (WofO, Reassurance, Deliverance, Prove thyself, Unbreakable...)
4. Adrenaline
If playing with team then Background player and FTP+Buckle up is OP
Ftp + buckle up
Deja Vu
Lithe
Bond
Windows
I'd recommend avoiding second chance perks like Unbreakable, because although powerful they're the kind of thing you won't have the chance to use in many matches. Prove Thyself is not recommend for solo players either, because you'll do gens by yourself a lot of the time.
Lithe
Quick & Quiet
Dance with me
Calm Spirit
I run this together with a yellow/green medkit with extra charges and faster healing.
This has been my most successful build for a long time... and killers usually do not hate me.
Now I run
Kindred (Feels mandatory in solo queue)
Lithe
Wiretap (you can put it on a 0.1% generator near a loop or in the middle of the map and if your teammates are smart they can use it to run the killer for a long time)
Flashbang (comes in clutch and extends games a lot, issues are being the first one in chase and then killer snowballs too fast to even get one before everyones been hooked)
Im currently levelling up renato for background player to swap out lithe, I've actually made a few lithe flashbang plays but background player means you dont need to be near the killer, but it makes your chase a bit less good
I've done many versions like ,
Circle of healing, detectives hunch or We'll make it or kindred, Lithe, windows (i really liked the we'll make it one because the time to reset was like 4 seconds and gives your teammates a spot they know they can go to for heals)
Adrenaline, kindred, bond (so you dont run into teammates while in chase), wiretap
Adrenaline, DS, bond, lithe if you feel lilke you get tunneled, probably add in off the record aswell if you want
Hard to believe I used to win a lot of games without an exhaustion perk, but I feel like ever since I did the 8 escapes without any perks equipped achievement, if you're "confident in your perks" you'll play worse or less careful. Food for thought : )
my main strategy at that point is to just push them until they trigger it, lose chase and do something else, then try to come back while sprintburst is on cooldown
its a perk that is extremely difficult to play around - as in I can't really control it. I can't cut off windows like for lithe, or bait it out to get a hit quite like Dead Hard.
I have experience using it playing as survivor too: and the simple fact of the matter is that I always feel safe with it up. At the drop of a hat - I can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ZOOOOOM to loops and the extra speed/distance means I have access to a LOT more of the map's resources. Not to mention it comes in handy being farmed off hook since I can dip like a potato chip the second my boots hit the ground
Just my two cents! its a bit more finicky to use but a good survivor with a good sprint burst is often tough to handle; in fact more times than not I tend to focus on their potato teammates if I need to lololol
My current preference is (solo q):
bond, windows, deja vu, OtR
or
windows, BT, we'll make it, desperate measures
I see lots of fun ones tho. mine are p square cos I only ever solo and I don't want my teammates to suffer.
If killers are sweaty that day I go with the first one because there's a loss for the killer if you don't chase and if you do chase, so I can take either or right off the bat. If not, I chill with the second one and it helps out all teams immensely outside of very coordinated cracked peeps cos in those you just need to focus on chases and gen spread, not heals.
I think less experienced ppl could make use of sprint burst tho. I don't use it cos it makes the game super boring and non-interactive, way too easy. If you're decent at looping it's not the best (it's situational like in a 3 gen) because all that happens is you either sprinto bursto away or you have a chase where the killer loses too much time on you (esp if you pop it twice etc depending on build) so eventually it puts pressure on your team to take the chases and you end up the only one not hooked in most games. Not ideal in most trials. I don't see any skilled survivors use sprint burst tbf, though some use other exhaustion perks, so obviously for anyone not quite confident yet taking chases or ready to practice taking chases, it's a great perk. It also gives you the advantage of being at a dead zone gen with little consequence.
Yea that's good I agree with most of it, but is it really THAT easy? I would say that other exh perks like lithe, overcome or even DH are better. I have to say, tho. DH is more likely to be used by more experienced players, same as overcome (imo). And yea I really like the 1st build more.
