Off The Record
So, is it bannable to use the perk to abuse the fact of "infinite" endurance?

Well, if you use it normally, it shouldn't be a problem. But if you're going to deliberately exploit it and get chased over and over again, then I think that's exploiting a bug.

In my opinion, it's actually a good feature. After all, it is an anti-tunnel perk, and if the survivor manages to recover, it is earned and continues to protect.

It should only be disabled after use if you've taken a protection hit, so you can't take advantage of it.
And why do u allow surv to mend?)

Maybe because the people that are abusing this are forcing maps that are better to them, or maybe you don't feel like to always play meta killers, so it's easy to abuse this with weak killers.

That doesn't matter on what killer u play. Ok ok, maybe i dont understand smth, but what's the problem to play killers which are easy to tunnel (like executioner, clown, pig, onrō)

:cryptothink: When I talked about tunnel? People are usually forcing the game, the pallet paradise, you can't waste too many time on only one survivor that have these things equiped to abuse, it's asking to lose all gens, so it's easy to be an annoying tank

I Hope it is if you deliberately abuse it.

I just played a game with off the record and didn't notice anything off (pun unintended). Was tunneled off the hook, otr allowed me to tank 1 extra hit, not infinite.

Abusing Bugs does get People banned but only if you manage to provide Proof.

BHVR needs you to do all the work for them that isnt "yeah we ban him". So you need Videomaterial or at least multiple pics and report it ingame and their website (yes, both)

I did this back when the Locker bug was abused (the first time when BHVR didnt care and just let it run rampage for over a week) and reported like 5 People I caught by providing Screenshots of them sticking out of Lockers and they all got dealt with. It still took over 2 Weeks but yeah

how did you fin out that's a bug? because it works exactly as it is description says. u see somewhere it provides only 1 hit to be blocked or what? 80 sec of endurance , that's it

I don't think it's that great of a bug.

Think about it, for a tunneled survivor they'd have to successfully mend during a chase if they're being actively tunneled compared to being able to mend and take hits over and over. It's current bugged state is a better Mettle of Man if anything, which IS unhealthy.

The bug is that if you mend while not ending off the record (IE touching a gen or trying to heal, mending is fine) you can take another endurance hit. You can continue to take endurance hits until OTR expires as long as you mend the deep wound. It's likely an endurance bug and not just OTR, it's just that nothing else gives you endurance for long enough to keep mending except for OTR.

People meta wise are using this to body block, mend, then body block again. Kind of what was happening when they first introduced the endurance update, which is why they added deep wound to try to stop that. Evidently, in doing that, they forgot about the fact that OTR lasts a very long time and can be used repeatedly between mends for body blocking.

It's not so much a solo queue issue, as that it gets abused a lot in SWFs. The easy answer is to make the mending action end OTR, considering if you have time to mend you probably aren't still being tunneled. Also, as someone else suggested maybe instead make it to where taking a protection hit ends OTR, although I see that being an issue with proxy camping leading you to accidentally taking protection hits after a wounded survivor saves you.

I think the real issue is that bhvr should address tunneling in base kit somehow and stop trying to use perk bloat to fix it. Or the easy answer is that in a 4v1 asymmetrical hide and seek game, maybe people shouldn't be so sweaty. But that's like wishing for peace on earth and good will towards man.

The perk is active for 80 seconds.
If the survivor is able to escape mend escape mend escape you have bigger issues then this perk.
Also this doesn't appear to be a bug the description of the perk says for the next 80 seconds all the effects are active. And no special notation that endurance goes away

Its a survivor perk of course there no punishement for using it. The perk is bug for a couple week now and its not the perk that bug but the endurance effect thats bug so every endurance perk got the same bug.
