Urgent Concerns: Unreasonable Bans, Blood Point Stripping, and Time Penalties Making Killer Gameplay Unrewarding
I write with deep frustration concerning the recent unjust bans, time penalties, and the stripping of my blood points in Dead by Daylight (DbD). Despite adhering to the game's rules, I've repeatedly encountered penalties that severely disrupt my gameplay and progression.

Initially, I was banned without warning and advised to check my internet connection, yet after confirming its stability, the issue persisted. This leads me to believe the problem stems from game servers or actions of other players, not my network or hardware.

Most recently, I was banned for downing two survivors before the endgame phase. As a Killer main, eliminating survivors is my core objective, and doing so within the game's mechanics should not prompt penalties. This ban is not only unjust but undermines the fundamental experience for Killer mains like myself.

Moreover, to add insult to injury, I discovered that my hard-earned blood points were also stripped alongside these penalties. This not only affects my progress but also adds to the frustration of facing unjust bans and penalties.

I strongly suspect these bans result from server issues or false reports from disgruntled players. It's unfair to penalize based on unreliable reports or technical issues beyond players' control.

I urge a thorough investigation and request a review of my account's ban history, with the restoration of any unjust penalties and the return of my stripped blood points.

Furthermore, if bans continue for fulfilling the Killer role, it raises questions about DbD's purpose. The game thrives on the intense chase between killers and survivors, and penalizing such gameplay undermines its core essence.

As a dedicated player, these penalties deter me from investing further. I seek a fair resolution that preserves the game's integrity and fairness for all players.

I've got video evidence because I record all matches for instances such as this. It's getting to the point where playing Killer is not even rewarding anymore, bad.

Thank you for your attention to this pressing matter.

Sincerely,

Pax

In order to abuse the report system, it would have to be a reliable report system in the first place, in which case, DBD's is far from.

The whole concept you propose of potential abuse is nonexistent because the only true way to actually report someone with results is with a help ticket with extensive video or photo evidence.

So in light of your concerns, report abuse is a complete non-issue because with DBD's current report system, it simply cannot exist.

I hope you're right, I want to believe you're right about this, but I'm getting booted before blood points tabulate and my blood points are taken away and I'm given time penalties that add up on my account, I don't know if anyone else is going through this but I feel like I'm being picked on since its been happening to me frequently.

you made 3 posts about this issiue and all look like they have been written with Chat GPT. (Not saying you did, but they read like that)

If you got actually banned falesly, you can contact them on the main forum. But honestly BHVR is very well aware the ingame report functions get abused, If they were to bann blindily just by reports, then there would litteraly be no killer players in this game. So this makes me think you actually did something that is bann worthy. Not saying you did, it looks that way.

I am someone who gives 0 about the survivor rulebook, by the 3 years im playing this game now, i bet i have over millions of reports on my name. Never have i been banned ingame, because i didnt break any actual rules.

I've finally had to resort to reporting these events, but they take all my blood points earned as Killer which Behavior hasn't reimbursed yet. It's frustrating to have to go through this after playing matches where I can down all four survivors, three survivors, but now its happening at two survivors, so I mostly wound them and let them escape most games. I don't know what the problem is, its definitely not my computer or internet service. My concern with this is that the bans are time bans and they increase , they add up with each subsequent purported penalty so it takes longer to enter games with each ban. Thanks for your comment.
So, as a card-carrying killer main who tunnels every now and then. I've never gotten a ban or warning for tunneling or 5 gen matches. Or basement bubbaing. Or any number of schenanigans.

Sure it is not an end game chat thing? Like BHVR does not to my knowledge really ban people over in game behaviors unless there is some sort of proof it is done with unacceptable intentions, like racism, ect. I'd be amazed if even killers that bleed others out and hump them for the fun of it gets banned.

This is what happens when you disconnect from matches. It sounds like maybe you might need to check your internet connection.

Nah, I've checked my internet connection with my services provider and I have the fastest speed and most reliable connections, behavior tech support is no help on this issue, they tell me to call admin, admin can't solve it either so, I don't think it's internet connection (maybe on rare occasions when the entire network goes out but that doesn't happen very often) and I don't think its my computer, it's optimized for gaming so, the only other things is I'm being disconnected from the server side; I don't know at this point so, I was hoping to get ideas on what could be happening unless is programmed into the game design...I don't know?

Yeah, I don't know, but it's a persistent issue, usually when there'e a melee where I down multiple Survivors all trying to save the one, when I get three or more Kills too quickly and now the blood point stripping and time penalties were assessed after just two kills during end game, I don't know, I just don't get it but I enter each game hoping that it won't be the one that gets penalized, I just don't know, I've pretty much given up trying to resolve this issue as it's been an ongoing thing for a while and tech support or Behavior are at a loss...Thanks for you comment.
I want to clarify a couple of things, since there seems to be a misunderstanding.

First of all the disconnection penalty is not a game ban, it's a matchmaking ban, if you racked up multiple hours of penalties, it could be an issue with your connection or your system and that is something that you have to solve yourself or discuss with your ISP, as Support seems to have already mentioned.

Second, game bans are not given without evidence, as someone already mentioned, moreover if people false report, they can receive a penalty for that. That said, game bans are not to be discussed publicly, if you received one (which does not seem to be the case here) you can discuss it with Support.

Lastly, your loss of bloodpoints might be simply related to your disconnection from the match, there is no "stripping player from bloodpoints" punishment for a DC.
