Put a translucid sticker in the center of your screen to aim your target more easily.

Yeah, this sums it up. Watching content is the best way to understand it.

Watching streamers helped me a lot! Learning how survivors play will help you determine their patterns and it'll make it easier to assume what move they're going to make, it'll come with hours of playing and practice. Being a survivor main made it easier for me to play killer because I know how survivors play or how I would play.

Invite a friend in a KWYF custom mode & play your huntress in this way first. When you have a clear idea about her skills then watch youtube videos & streams to investigate on one specific point.
As they said, the killer side is complex, but it is easier to learn it if you have your own objectives...
And forget the kills as your first goal, it is pointless in the beginning...
Correct me if I'm wrong but for huntress you have to aim slightly higher than your target. Try to throw them rounding corners in loops. They'll usually try to zigzag in open areas so you can try to wait them out or when they turn right aim slightly left and throw since they usually double back.

Also, reload simulator.

That too!
I play pyramid but what helped me the most is aura builds, will help you for sure.Get the knightt, prestiege the knight, hillbilly and nurse for good aura and info perks and maybe clown for gen regress. You will get tinker which does alot of things makes your aura terror radius and red stain invisible for 15 seconds and shows you with big glow and sound when a generator is on 70% so you will know which generator to break and have the info to throw hatchets on there. From the knight you get the next cool perk No where to hide, when you hit the generator you see the aura of all survivors that are around you and what is cool is while you move it activates for some seconds while moveing you can reveal more people around the area and it has super short cooldown so you can go to another gen break it and go back to the previous one while having no where to hide active again, Nurse's perk can show you when they heal you see their aura Nurse calling is the name of the perk. And from the clown Pop goes the wheesle will work also good with tinker, when you hook someone the next gen you hit goes to - 30% insta and you activate nowhere to hide again etc. I never play huntress but this build in general will work and is all from killers you can get with iridicent shards so in other words no money required ;) hf

I do agree with this, and in part was how I learned not to be afraid of taking shots I wasn't 100% sure of, or getting a better understanding of "leading" the throw, and predicting how a Survivor is likely to path when they know a hatchet is about to fly.

Also, depending on what other perks you may have, there are a few I liked/ helped a bit:

- I'm All Ears (Ghost Face): even if unable to get a hit from seeing their aura, this perk is really great to learn Survivor patterns when trying to evade (i.e. "Ok, this Survivor likes to vault as soon as possible, and get to a pallet to pre-throw it, which I noticed as an M.O. of other survivors in previous matches", etc)

- Zanshin Tactics (The Oni): If fairly new to the game in general, this is a nice one to get a feel for vault & pallet locations, and (make a strong attempt) to throw a hatchet for one beelining for a window or downed pallet.

Also, don't be afraid to have bad games with her! Sometimes the best way to learn is to jump in and try <3 There are custom matches as well, either with bot Survivors, or can have friends join as Survivors in a custom to just practice hatchet throws!
A good tip is not tunnelling. If someone just came off the hook, go for the other person.

Play both sides! I learn a lot about how to play Killers by getting matched with them as Survivor as well.

very bad tip without context, there is a lot of times when tunneling is not worth and a lot of times when it it.

Play Nurse, use Insidious, NOED, Blood Warden and a 4th perk of your choosing. At the start of the match, blink inside the exit gate closest to you. Stand still behind the door, wait until all gennies pop, then it's time to start slaying when they open the door. Plus, they will get the scare of their lives!

This is my new favorite thing to do for fun, but it actually works often too! I just had 3 matches in a row where I killed 3 with this lol. Sometimes it doesn't work because they might all go for the other exit, but that's actually quite rare that all 4 go there.
