Edit: Verify integrity of files fixed it for me. Odd, similar issue but not the same I guess. Try navigating to the install folder, go up a level. uninstall game, then remove anything that remains. Search the internet to hunt down where any other files might be located locally, then remove them too. Restart and reinstall.
I'd hope that if you're banned the game would let you know and provide a reason. Some players have had suspensions I think so maybe they can tell you.
Did you try:
1. Making sure fastboot is disabled?
2. Check EAC logs to see if it's having issues connecting or not.

3. Manually ping + tracert whichever server you usually connect to via cmd prompt as Admin:
Here is the server list:
US West (Oregon) --> gamelift.us-west-2.amazonaws.com
US East (North Virginia) --> gamelift.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
South America (São Paulo) --> gamelift.sa-east-1.amazonaws.com
Europe (Frankfurt) --> gamelift.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com
Europe (Ireland) --> gamelift.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com
Asia Pacific (Mumbai) --> gamelift.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com
Asia Pacific (Singapore) --> gamelift.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com
Asia Pacific (Sydney) --> gamelift.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com
Asia Pacific (Tokyo) --> gamelift.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com
Asia Pacific (Seoul) --> gamelift.ap-northeast-2.amazonaws.com
4. Flushing your DNS - run cmd prompt as Admin then:
ipconfig /renew <enter>
ipconfig /flushdns <enter>
Close prompt & restart system
5. Hard resetting your modem & router by shutting down devices connected to them. Then unplug power from each. Wait a solid 60 seconds. Plug in modem wait at least a minute or two until it's online & sync'd then plug in router and wait another minute or two and then fire back up your PC?
I'd do all of those things to start.
