Regarding private server installations and mods

Hello!
As the title says, I have a question about mods.
I have asked about mods in a previous thread and found out that there are private servers.
I have looked into it, and I have heard that it is not against the terms and conditions to install a private server and use mods on it, and that you can't be banned.
I am very interested in the dbd mod and would like to install it as long as it does not violate the terms of the agreement or get me banned.
If you know more about it, I would very much appreciate an answer.

We do not condone the discussion of mods, or changes to game files (i.e. custom portraits or perk icons) on this Discussion Board.

Any changes to the game, including mods, can lead to a ban from BHVR, or the EAC. If the modifications are detected by EAC and a ban issued, BHVR cannot unban you; you would have to appeal with the EAC directly.
