The hair change was stupid and now everyone looks like they have half rendered hair. Looks like I have to hunt down one more setting.
the hair looks weird if you have taa antialiasing turned off. but in my opinion the game becomes more clear with taa turned off, so i just leave it off. a shame that dead by daylight needs every form of sharpness filter and anti aliasing just for the game to look slighly less ugly but in turn makes it way more blurry.
Download and install MSI Afterburner, then monitor these metrics:
GPU: usage, memory, temp, core clock, and power
CPU: usage, temp, clock, and power
RAM: usage
FPS: framerate (Avg, 1% low, and 0.1% (you can ignore this))
Also tell me the rest of your rig's specs, if you want.
I run this game at 1440p120 with an RTX 3060 ti paired with an Intel i7 13700K and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM @5600 MHz
Some complain a lot about this game not being optimized, but here are my results:
Average FPS: 119
1% low: 70+ (sometimes 60+)
0.1% low: 5+
These are not bad results for a non-fps multiplayer online game in terms of optimization. Setting 0.1% aside, the 1% low could have been better, but still not bad by any means and I don't feel too much stuttering while playing like you said - at least, recently!
