should i get everyone to P3 or only P1
im new and since you can unlock higher tiers for the teachables with just P1 is it really worth getting P3? Why not just get every perk and max them ion each killer? or is that actuaklly more grind?

Its up to you honestly, I tend to P3 everyone I have just in case a new killer/survivor comes out and I want to play them with certain perks, I'm not wasting time leveling them up to get those perks to tier 3.

ofcourse P3 .. but if ur starting out now then figure out what perks you use the most then get those characters to P3 first that way its accessible on ur most played killer.. same goes for survivor.

i dont mind the grind im not like technically new i polayed in 2021 but only had like 10 hours so i kinda feel like leveling the perks up is part of the experience

For me its:

P3 all Killers
P1 all Survs

Killers play differently from each other, and every time a new killer comes out of course I want to check them out.

For survivors I couldn't care less since there's no difference on game-play which one I play. I only ever play Kate/Nic and level them to get the new survivor perks. Tome challenges, achievements and dailies are an exception of course.

I went out of my way to P3 all my characters. Survivor and Killer alike.

My advice is if you like the character, P3 them. If not, P1 and put the rest of your BP on your mains. I especially say this for killers, a few of them I don't vibe too much with and felt the BP was wasted on them since I never touch them.
I'd only P3 the ones with the perks I like the most. So basically on survivor: Nea, Feng, and Nancy.

Killer might be a different story though. Might have to P3 all of them.

Go to custom match and look at all the perks available and see what perks you like to use and prestige that one next.

Getting characters to P3 helps cause you don't have to level up their perks again when you unlock a new character.

P1

Depends many thing. Myself P3 (that P3 Level 1 precisly!) all my owned characters to insta share all perks at max level, P9 characters I really like it and to get them max stuff bloody skin and perk charms. Right now Idoing P9 all owned characters since I don't want to waste BP and hell why not everyone got a bloody skin. :D

So if I were new, I would level up and prestige all the characters whose perks I would play.

This means:
1. level to P1 the characters whose perks I want to have
2. level the character I want to play
3. gradually get charatars to P3 whose perks I want to use
4. get chars to P3 whose perks I don't really use
5. bonus: prestige up to 9 to unlock everything, even if I don't use it.

It's important to get your character good perks to play with at the beginning, to get more points to level up faster and to keep up well in the rounds.

The rest is up to you.

P1 is enough since you have access to all Perks that way and since you need to spend more Bloodpoints regulary anyway (for Addons or Items) you can upgrade the Perks you really want to use on the Chars themselves with just a Fraction of the Bloodpoints you would have spend if you put everyone to P3
