Nvidia Shadowplay not working!

i would like to ask you guys if you have the same issue,
i tried to clip last 5 mins of a game so when u turn on nvidia replay the icon keeps blinking and doesn't clip anything, and if you try to record, u see the record icon for 3 seconds then it goes away as if it finished recording.
i thought there was something wrong with my drives or the gforce experience i've re'installed and checked everything and it works on other games smoothly ( csgo , apex...)
so i wanna know is it just a me issue that i can't record with nvidia shadowplay on dbd or you guys have it too?

ps: i've recorded many dbd videos before the UE5 update i'm thinking thats the reason?

Forgive the obvious question, but do you have enough free HDD/SSD space?

yeah other games recording path is the same and it works fine, but on dbd it doesn't, do you have an nvidia card? all i wanna know is if its a me problem or a dbd one

Yeah I have an nVidia card and I use Shadowplay every day on DbD and other games.

Hmm. Definitely an odd one, I hope someone can help you with it.

Might be worth heading over to the nVidia forums to see if anyone there can shed some light.

I am running into the same problem. Recording games on other platforms, or other games here on Steam, goes without trouble. Only DBD seems to be problematic. I hit Alt+F9 to start recording, but it stops immediately. This never happened before patch 7.7.0. After the patch I was able to record some games before the problems started.

A temporary 'fix' seems to be to change from Windowed Fullscreen to Fullscreen and back, then close the game, reboot your PC, and start the game again. However, next time you do the problem is back, and it's kind of annoying.

It's definitely something with DBD that makes Shadowplay act up like this.

what can i say.. i love you, the temporary fix combo works, and you are compeltly right on everything, the update been acting up heavily its so frustrating

This feature just stopped working for me after the UE5 update. Still looking for a fix. But yeah like some others have said the windowed mode helps. Hope it's fixed proper though.

yeah i thought i could make the *windowed into fullscreen combo* work without restarting the pc but i guess u have to restart the pc for it to work
