- buffs weaker Killers
"wow more annoying Killers, Killer sided game"
it never ends
The loops in the buildings were probably too strong, so I'm glad that the devs did something about that, but I do worry about WHERE exactly the pallets are going to go. The generators outside of the buildings are NOT SAFE, no matter what killer you're playing against, and I almost never do them if I can avoid it because at that point you're just asking to be spotted from across the map - and if that does happen, there aren't many safe (or even 50/50) loops to run to, especially late game when the few pallets have already been dropped. The devs mentioned adding pallets to the *edges* of the map, which is good - late game, while trying to open gates, these could be life savers if utilized properly - but I think that the main road and backyards need some love as far as pallets go. I like that the map tries to do something new with limiting jungle gyms and strong window to window loops, instead putting emphasis on playing around the various buildings, but the center/road area is so barren it feels stupid to ever leave the buildings at all.
Still, I like that this map is actually fun for stealth killers. I always found it cool that they sort of designed the map around the playstyle of the killer that came out with it. But hopefully this plays out fine. I think survivors might struggle with this map moving forward, but that comes down to the quality of the pallets added and how strong the house loops are post-nerf. Plus, each map will favor one side to some extent and that's sort of just part of the game.
