Unpopular opinion, Huntress is a low mid-tier killer.
I find Huntress weak, even though I usually 4k with her, it's not because she is good but because all the potatoes that throw the pallet against her, leaving the 1-2 players that actually know to loop her in a really bad spot.

As a survivor, I find huntress by far the easiest killer to loop, broken hitboxes or not, she is a slow killer and most huntresses hate using their M1, usually ending in the chases going on forever.

I just feel like, if it wasn't like some instruction to every potatoe to throw the pallet against her, she'd be one of the weakest killers in the game as there is no other killer in the game that is easier to mind game, her slow speed even forces a lot early, desperate M1's too.

It is a high tier killer with a relatively high skill-floor.
It also depends on the map.
But yeah, a bad huntress will get destroyed.

Mid-tier range killer would be Deathslinger, who has only his low terror radius as an advantage compared to her.

I don't feel like she is high tier, I mean there is the one 0.1% god huntress that hooks a survivor, use BBQ and snipe from a distance with accuracy, but when I look back at almost all my games both as the huntress myself or as a survivor, the ones that goes down quickly are almost always the potatoes that throw the pallet as the huntress raises her hatchet, and then they go down. If survivors knew not to throw that pallet, I'd find my games with her a lot more difficult.

Huntress weakness is her lullaby and her big a-ss hit box. Other than that, she's pretty handful and balance. Not to mention she's the easiest killer in DBD that can get 1 hit add-on from blood web. You are assuming a bad huntress player that has no basic skill at all. By that logical, almost every killer is low mid-tier.

No, I just find this to be 95% of the huntresses, and then I been in red ranks against her in probably 500 matches.

With that said, it could be that the huntres players expecting the survivors to be potatoes, that make her easy to loop since almost all huntresses love raising that hatchet by pallets which means you can take two more laps around the obstacle, and then the same story again, and it's not overly hard to sniff out that rage M1.

I agree, kind of.

Even though i most often perform well with her, it feels like im constantly just catching up with the survivors gen progress. I would be happy if her movement speed was increased, at the cost of base hatchet count.

I know she has one of the strongest ultra rares in the game, but i wont use them due to a mutual respect for fair play. Get rid of iri heads imo.

She can hit people twice in a short amount of time since her hatchet throw doesn't stun her when it hits someone like an m1 does. That alone puts her above many killers since it lets keep chasing. In addition to this she has a ranged attack that hits over pallets and downs people unlike deathslinger who can only hurt people through pallets. Combine all this with her pretty good items and the fact that she doesn't have to reload every throw makes her really good if played well.

To me, both survivor and killer with rank from 3 below have same personal set of skill. The only difference is that survivor know how to work as a team and killer start using pink and purple add-on.

That being said, you should look for pro player Huntress to see how insane they are.

Which is why you don't throw a pallet at huntress at all unless it's really early or if you really bait her in to it.

But I agree with the double tap if she catches you in a bad spot.

I know there are "God huntresses" out there, but they are an extreme rarity, much more rare than a god nurse for example imo.

That's my point though against about 80% of the killer roster a pallet is safe since they either have to break it or walk around and mind game you. Not huntress though, hell even deathslinger has to worry about pallets and he's ranged and gets punished for harder for it.

Deathslinger only worry about pallet that has been drop down. If you choose to loop him around a spot, you better pray to god that this Deathslinger is bad cause there's no looping against good Deathslinger.

Fair point, but I think almost all huntresses will make that back fire though by raising the hatchet, and if it's a decent survivor, that know not to throw it, she'll lost all her progress and have to play catch up for another 10 seconds.

Yeah, and here we have the survivor that throws the pallet and get a hatchet in his face.
