When you get healed from dying by somebody else, iirc you only get healed for 1 health state instead of 2, and now you can't activate Plot twist anymore so you've effectively lost a health state.
1. plot twist fully heals you. if you heal him from the dying state he will still be injured.
2. plot twist doesn't let you recover from the dying state if the killer downs you. that's what unbreakable is for.
To be fair, there's no in-game indication that tells you your teammate downed himself unless you're playing swf.
Wiki: "Plot Twist deactivates after recovering yourself by any means."
If Dwight was picked up and healed quickly (2 of us were there and he was already 90% recovered, ready for pick up and killer was faraway chasing someone else and it was 4v1 at this point),
then the next time he's left injured, he could use plot twist to fully heal up (i was too busy helping Ada and it was 3v1 at this point).
Instead, because he wasted his plot twist, he remained injured when killer left chase against him, unable to self-heal/plot-twist, was found and downed easily by the killer.
He wasted the chance to use plot twist at a better time because he insisted on using it when he could've been healed up.
If the killer is anywhere nearby, or in chase with you, stay away from the slug. That has nothing to do with plot twist mechanics. It's just anti-slugfest game sense.
