DBD is dead for me after 900hrs (this game is bad for mental health)
It's been a while since I had a good match, it's either me as killer destroying noobs or (in most cases) me getting humiliated by p100 survivors. i hope someone enlightens me on what to do as killer, because i try to make fun builds and i get demolished, I try meta builds and I get torn to pieces. i literally had 2 wins in like 15 games yesterday. ALL of tem I get some kind o humiliation. I don't see myself as a bad player, but this is getting ridiculous. SBMM HAS TO GO

I'm considering leaving DBD for good, I literally tried to end myself irl because I was so frustrated at this game. (obviously that wasn't just about the game) But for devs the praise diversity and mental issues they seem to do NOTHING to make the game simply FUN.

There's nothing you can do. The game is an exercise in misery. People only play it on the hope the next game is "the good one."

Killer main will tell survivor main it's skill issue or git gud,
I main survivor solo q and most matches have survivors getting tunneled or camp by toxic killer. We move on or take a break sometimes.
I dont think killer have the worst experience than solo q players.

Just take a long break from the game. I sometimes dip out for 4 to 6 months. Also behaviour sometimes do wonky things with the game balance, so it is a good time to bail at those times.

This game is made for people that their only activity id playing DBD. You cannot play this game casually. I simply don't have fun anymore. I just uninstalled it, 'cause it's frustrating. I'm tired, that's it. I play as survivor too, and it's a pain. But we have to look at BHVR and not just the players... Every change they make pushes one side or another to toxic behaviour.

You get tunnelled by killer because that is part of the game. not really toxic. This idea that tunnelling and camping is bad has to die.

If you do not like how the game plays, blame behaviour, for making the game balance that way. I hate getting gen rushed, but it is not the survivors fault, it is how the game is designed.

If a killer lets up even a little bit of pressure, he can lose the game fast. I have had games where I am dominating at the start, and get a bit lax, and the survivors come back.

The only thing i consider toxic by killer is slugging without hooking when he already has won the game.

Game is too complicated to play casually, the idea it is just a casual game, should be rejected out of hand.

BHVR really doesn't seem to know which way to take this game, is it a competitive game or is it a game to have fun with friends... They stated the latter. But doesn't feel like it.

Either way I'm done with the game, maybe in the future if they try some creative solutions I might come back. I feel it's just so much wasted potential.

Nah definitely not behaviour fault. It's definitely player base fault. Toxic game by toxic community. So I just learn to move on and try to farm bp as much possible.

It wont because no game can dethrone DBD for now.

If anything, SBMM let's you play the game casually. You just drove yourself so far up the SBMM ladder that you can't play casually from there.

As a newbie, I can play Trapper with no perks, no items (except a padded jaws to nerf him for extra blood points), and just settle for 9-10 hooks during a match (killing 1 or 2 of the 4 survivors). Not sweaty in the slightest. Technically I'm throwing by not killing all 4, but who cares? If you kill all 4 all the time, you only are rewarded with harder matches anyway.

No it is your fault for whining and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about someone playing the game it is designed to be played like.

Good teams can stop me tunnelling and if they are putting pressure on gens, I am not going to camp a hook, as I do not want a boring 1k or 2 k game.

If the team sucks that is not the killers fault. Tunnelling happens due to bad unhooks by other survivors.

The problem with MMR is that it doesn't seem to go down.

There's no way to stop tunnelling if killer want to focus on the only one survivor. Top MMR literally have blight players doing this all day.
See... solo q survivor are not allowed to talk about it because we will get shut down by killer main. When killer main whine about how unfair they play against swf they are definitely right.

I can't show sympathy at all when killer main said how frustrate they go against swf. Just like you cant show sympathy to solo q players.

This is the toxic community issue.
get help for your mental - that has nothing to do with dbd and everything to do with you on a personal level. not sure why'd you even mention that tbh.

also, unless you're a god gamer 900 hours isn't enough to make you a competitive player when going against good teams. especially when many of the people who you're playing against have 5-10x time that.
