is Hyperfocus and Stakeout to op to be used together!
For playing survivors it is amazing with the great skill check from just a normal check from the use of Stakeout! and Stake fill up fast! pair with Hyper that 4% increase each time you get a great skill check! and pair that with Resilence! and tool box :p and Prove Thyself! gens just go popping! You get the picture what are your thoughts!

At most you get 3 procs of hyperfocus unless you're really good at hitting the great check on your own.
Options to go with it:
--Deadline makes the skill check harder but makes them more frequent.
--This is Not Happening to make the great skill check zone easier to hit.
--Built to Last; bring a Commodious Toolbox with extra duration add-ons. Faster repair means more skill checks, and build to last makes it last 150+ charges.

Its strong but its not op. Op thing are nurse, WoO, OTR and things like that.

Shhh, don't tell them Survivors have been able to solo a gen in under 38 seconds with this build variation for the last 2 years

its not that difficult to accomplish once your prepped

20 stacks of Potential Energy + 4 Stacks of Stake-out + Toolbox BNP counts as a free stack

You are guaranteed 5 procs of Hyperfocus when fully prepped

It is the strongest repair build in the game

That was actually a meta build once, and I ran it myself for while. I ended up phasing it out because the hard gen build was leaving me too vulnerable in chases, but it's still a great way to knock out a "get x great skill checks" challenge quickly.

i havnt seen a hyperfocus user in ages, i figured it was relegated to cheaters considering the difficulty of landing the skill checks consistently without stakeout (im still waiting to see something along the lines of a Bardic Inspiration, Hyperfocus, Deadline, Built to Last cheater)

I'm almost always running it to offset SoloQ's gen speeds.

It's really not hard to hit great skill checks, especially if you run this build long enough to get used to it. I've managed to keep max stacks quite a few times.

It was not a meta build but it would have been the best build during the 3 gen meta we had. I was like you i used potential energy a lot during that time it was a strong perk and it could beat most of the killer if teamate did not kill themself.
