I want to change my OS from Windows 10 to Linux Ubuntu. How does this game work on Ubuntu (Or is it even running?)? Would anyone like to share their experience?

It only supports Windows from what I know, but I play it on Linux Mint using Proton Experimental, and it works perfectly fine. I do have to use -dx11 as a launch command to not have memory leaks every time I load into a match, though. You can definitely play it on Ubuntu, but you might have to tweak a few things and will certainly have to enable Proton.

I did not know anything about Proton until now, I found out that it is even created by Valve, so if u have the will to play games on Linux you will definitely find a solution, right?

Yes, definitely. Technically, you can play any game on any OS with Proton, but some games require other things that Proton can't work around.

I am on Linux Mint, I play the game just fine, via proton. Technically after set the system and stuff up, it is just click and play. So personally I recommend it.

Works great on Steam Deck in any case. Not that I would ever want to play such a vision-based competitive game on that tiny screen.

I Played on a mini pc without gpu. With the updates to proton, I havent had much problems. I do have to play on low setting and 720p. This was running on PopOS.

Im on Linux Mint and it runs fine. Just make sure to toggle steam compatibility settings before launching and it will work like normal. Welcome to Linux.

Just installed Ubuntu Linux and got stuck on checking platform services. I believe it cannot be due to Linux, but does anyone else have this problem? Using Proton Experimental and installed Proton Easy Anti Cheat.
Are you by any chance using the Steam Snap package? I remember seeing discussion about it still being a bit shaky on games that don't support Linux natively. If nothing else works, you could try the Steam Flatpak (which I'm using) or the official .deb package directly from Steam's website
