But of course whining about new killers instead of actually learning how their powers work is old dbd tradition.
Mage's Hand - move to a different loop....? If you're camping the pallet, you're gonna get hit.
"Ranged Damage" (Flight of the Damned) - Just crouch....?
"Revealing Aura" (Dispelling Sphere) - You mean you can't deal with a mechanic that was already in the game? Like BBQ, Lethal, Nowhere to Hide. You move away and start looping if he finds you.
Fly - He can't hit you while in flight, and there's a small delay when he lands and can't hit you.
These spells have a cooldown of 38secs on basekit. That's roughly 40% of a gen. Something is wrong if survivors think using an ability once every 38secs is considered "broken"
Mage's Hand - move to a different loop...? Excuse you, broski? How are you gonna move to another loop if there isn't any loop nearby? You're not Ayrun, I'm not Ayrun, we're not gonna spin the killer 6 times and vault a window to safety. He has absolutely no hit or movement cooldown to his power and that makes it OP.
He has a "tech" that makes Flight of Damned almost impossible to dodge where he summons ghosts right on survivor so you have to crouch before he use the spell.
If he's that close to you while using the spell, you're going to get hit by M1 regardless. It's just he chose to use that spell.
Then that's you being unlucky and you choosing to loop in a dead zone. Not all killers have a kit that allow survivors to just juice the same tile for 20minutes. You can't take a simple M1 and get a speed boost to another tile?
Usually loops have some distance between them, right? So let's say you've been looping the same pallet in the middle of the map for 20 seconds and you decide to drop it. Guess what? He lifts it up or even better, puts a block on it with his spell, now you take the M1 and move to another tile. You get to another tile with the M1 and guess what? SAME THING HAPPENS AFTER 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SECONDS.
Can we stop trying to defend this chapter and the killer? It's not great, it's not terrible, just needs a very quick rework and thats a nerf on the mage's hand and the new Borgo variant map.
The only effective loop against Vecna is TL walls and that's it but even then most Vecna players use bamboozle.
The Mage's Hand has a 38secs cooldown. What do you mean another 20secs you take another M1? 38 secs is 40% of a gen if 1 survivor is fixing it. He loses roughly 3 gens by only M1-ing you after each Mage's Hand.
He doesn't need a nerf. Survivors just need to get used to his kit and learn how to play around it. It's barely a week into the new chapter.
I'll stand by my point because you obviously don't understand how OP that mage's hand is. I'm not saying BHVR should remove the spell entirely, they just have to have a hit cooldown or get slowed down instead of maintaining the same movement speed with next to zero hit cooldown. That's a free hit every 38 seconds, do you think that's fair?
A nurse can M1 you roughly every 5secs in chase. Myers can insta-kill you after roughly one minute of stalking, less if survivors don't break LOS. Ghostface can insta-down you after 3-4secs of stalking,
You mean the only way to "balance" this skill is to make it so you don't get M1 after he uses Mage's Hand? What's the point of having an ability then?
Taking an M1 38secs into a chase takes way too long than you realise.
Nurse has a counter-play, Myers has a counter-play, Ghostface has a counter-play. How are you gonna counter-play that spell? And no, running to the next loop is not an option because you won't make it to the next loop, all being said he gets a free hit every 38 seconds, if you think that is fair you're a lost cause, pal. You can't loop a killer that by default negates loops. To give you an example of a killer that has a similar power, that would be Knight using one of his 3 soldiers to break a pallet. If you're skilled enough you can put the soldier down right when they throw the pallet and you'll negate every loop, but, it takes skill for the killer. The Lich's mage hand doesn't take any skill whatsoever which means every 38 seconds he gets a free hit even if there's a window right next to the pallet, you know why? Because he doesn't lose any momentum.
