If u want to win as nemi u must know how to abuse this
Check some vids, don't rely much on zombies, AI is stupid
Play more for the feels of whip, u miss - u lose
Don't be afraid to m1, sometimes its better to m1 then whip
Tentacle whip folk that are in choke points or going to vault, get good at dragging the whip left or right to catch folk that dodge a little too late, and otherwise just smack folk around.
Just remember that stbfl now loses stacks on obsession tentacle hits as well, so don't treat them any different :D
Tips
1- use corrupt intervention and dont go for down early and only go for some infection the goal is to infect all of them early or make them use vaccine early.
2- many say his addon are trash the thing is only the zombie addon and the iri addon are bad the rest of the addon are all usefull.
3- get use to use the whip when survivor vault or drop pallet and when you are use to the speed you can go for open field whip just be carefull in some map you cant see well cause of the tall grass like the dwamp map or the cornfield.
4- you can slide the whip it that really usefull around some loop like any car loop.
5- discordance and CoB can activate the zombie to go to the gen were those perk activate.
6- dont use save the best for last its not good on him unless you want to tunnel of hook.
If i have any other tip i can think about i will comment again.
Don't always try to whip them. Sometimes, it's best to M1 them, especially if the survivors are smart and know how to outplay you. But they can't outplay your punches.
As for perks, I don't know what to recommend really. Most games I only use like two of my perks, one of them being Lightborn.
As far as the macro aspect, getting to tier 2 asap is your number 1 objective. Hitting 2 different uncontaminated survivors gets you there. Basically you need 6 "pips" to level up to level 2. Hitting a survivor that hasn't been contaminated gives 3/6th progression, hitting a zombie or contaminated survivor gives 1/6th progression, without add ons. Marvins blood allows you to hit 1 survivor 3 times and level up the whip, otherwise, leave your first chase after you hit them. When you get to tier 2, tunnel. Nemesis is not a very strong killer, it's hard to hold a 3 gen, spreading pressure is difficult with him, but the thing he does well is chase someone right away after unhook. You probably need 2 fewer whip hits on that survivor and a lot of loops are unsafe against him.
The zombies are atracted to loud noise notifications, so perks like discordance and pain resonance can make the zombies useful. They'll start annoying survivors on gens, slowing gen progression, which is usually the best use of a zombie.
Survivor perks:
Deception, Diversion, and Red Herring
Killer perks:
Discordance, Eruption, Hoarder, No Way Out, Scourge Hook: Hangman's Trick, Spies from the Shadows, Tinkerer, and also any perk that makes the survivor scream which creates a Loud Noise.
I recommend Discordance as it has always helped me with Nemesis and most other killers. I dont recommend just using these perks of course but having a few helps your zombies find survivors. As others have said, corrupt intervention is always a solid choice for Nemesis.
I like using the two Zombie Speed add-ons over the others along with Sloppy Butcher. Makes it to where Zombies can find survivors fast and can stop heals and generally be annoying. Most people do not like the Zombie Add-ons but I like using the speed ones so the zombies can be more of a nuisance. You can experiment and see what perks you like but I always keep Sloppy on since it can reset their healing if a zombie rolls up on them.
Learn how to drag the whip and hit someone. When you whip can you move left or right and the whip will STILL hit them if you time it right. You should be aiming to whip even when out in the open so dragging the whip and hitting someone helps when they're in the open. Direct hit is harder to do when they're watching you in the open.
Watch videos and learn how to hit people with your whip around corners too. It may not look like you can but sometimes you can literally whip someone's ass as they're running around the corner.
I used to run Marvin's Blood until they nerfed it but my first chases always go quick enough that I can down the first survivor and then find the second one to reach stage 2.
