Does anyone else hate playing against the Lich as much as I do?
I just don't think it is fun to play survivor against the lich. his spells that make pallets useless and his ranged attacks that can go through walls. i mean... c'mon. it's just no fun. and probably a coincidence, but almost every time i face the Lich, i get tunneled. is that just the way it is with this killer?

You can crouch to avoid the skelebones as for the pallets if you know he has the pallet spell ready, pre drop

u can hear when he cast the skulls, just duck.

To be fair, I don't face him that much, but I really love because you have to be on your toes with him. For Mage's Hand, it doesn't last that long (on a lot of pallet's loop, running one time around it is enough to be able to drop it), and for the skelleton's range attack, you can easily avoid it by crouching (unless he has the ultra-rare add-on or if he was able to launch it while being on stairs or on a small height under you

Ok to be fair if he summons them and your behind a wall but close they spawn on you hitting right off the bat

Use the killer specific mechanics available to you for complicated killers, and you'll have a better time of it. In this case, the magic items.

In regards to tunneling, that's not a killer specific thing :bunnyinablanket:

I don't hate it, but it's def a little different than usual. We will all adjust honestly and learn better against him.

I like the "just duck" people.

Even a slight elevation, you can't duck it. If are close enough to have to duck it, that's time you don't have to duck and it becomes a free hit anyway since he'll catch up.

There's a gimmick to mage hand if he picks up a pallet, you can just throw it right back down in his face if you're quick, but there's nothing you can do if he grabs it before you get there.

Add these factors to his mobility and he just feels like he's got too many tools to get free downs.

yeah i agree totally with you

The pallet thing is overtuned for sure, the ranged attack is super easy to deal with though.

They are thrown at a slight elevation from wherever Vecna is standing. If Vecna's vertical position is lower than yours then the skeles are essentially gliding along the floor making "just duck" not work any more. This also doesn't account for any add-ons the killer may or may not be using, nor does it account for the fact that if you angle the skeles properly the amount of time the survivor has to duck to avoid being hit is increased by quite a bit meaning you gain a large amount of distance.

unless you're right up on the skeles usually there will be a decently large gap between them to dodge them aswell, and if you're right up on him then there shouldn't be that big of a elevation difference making ducking worth it

But you know that, right? It's well known enough, that multiple people have cited the elevation as a counter to "Just duck".

So if you're being chased by the Lich, yes, sometimes he can force you to go up very short stairs, but if you're planning your escape route, avoid those places.
