Opinion On The Unknown

Hey! Now that the unknown has had some time to settle into the game what do you think of him? Is he a good or a bad addition to the killer roster?

Yes, both in terms of style and gameplay. I think the unknown adds finally to the horror this game misses in to many ways these days. In terms of game play we were bound to get bouncy projectiles eventually and they pulled it off well. Though I am not so sure about the 2 required hits until damage. Obvious comparisons are deathslinger and huntress and it took survs like 1-2 weeks to memorize the area of effect and avoid being effected.

Seems like a mix between hag and huntress to me so far. Strong anti looping killer for those who use it properly. My only real gripe at the moment is that walls don't stop projectiles, so it requires less skill than huntress. Oh, and if your teammates don't bother to dispel the hallucinations so the killer is able to teleport back to the hook, gen, etc.

I think he is good. But personally don't like the projectile area of effect can hit over wall. Overall is a well done killer.

Yeah projectiles hitting through walls seems to be peoples main grife about this killer, but it seem everyone likes him and helps bring back the horror to dead by daylight!

People started to look back - they do run into objects sometimes but at least they know how to remove the Weakened state.

Actually, yeah! It works wonderfully most of the time :)
