About his perk "devour hope"
I played a few rounds with this perk and i must say that i feel bad. Like the survivors had almost no chance against me. Is it just me or is this perk.. well... very evil and maybe unfair. I even apologiized to the survivors after the round. Also I was afraid of being reported for cheating after i used that perk.

give them another chance to run away if you think its too unfair then tbh. you gotta self moderate on some aspects as killer if you want them to benefit too. but you are not gonna get banned if you dont, either.

as someone who plays surv though id rather vs a devour hope guy and realise i got outplayed if i didnt cleanse in time (because the mori is quick) rather than the 4 minute slugfests at 5 gens or the guys who tunnel specifically so the tunnellee cannot play a bit.

Match Making Rating. It's the skill bracket that everyone gets placed in. You start off in low MMR and go up if you keep doing well.

those ranks don't actually do anything other than give you free bloodpoints the 13th of every month. your actual MMR is invisible.

Silver/gold/Iri are meaningless in terms of MMR. They used to have bearing on it in the old system. Currently, your rank means nothing apart from how many BP you get on the 13th of every month. Your MMR rating is hidden.
Definitely a cheeky perk to bring, but it isn’t cheating to use it.

At some point the survivors are notified it is devoured hope and that should indicate to go looking for that totem.
You aplogized for...killing them? You can't be serious, right? :onoskelis: It's the point of this game dude. Life in unfair, not a video game. Keep it in mind. :Dragonia_expression1:
Totem perks can be powerful, but since the totem placement can either be well hidden or easily noticeable, that power isn't reliable. Getting mori'd by devour hope is a good reminder to folk that they need to cleanse totems :D
do bones
You'll soon discover that this particular hex totem is very, very high cleanse priority for survivors and they eventually will destroy it faster than you think.

Don't worry about this being oppressive to people who just don't know the game well, as they'll perceive a ton of other killer perks as the same.

This. When I run any kind of hex I am always very pleasantly surprised if they are still up after the first generator is done... Sometimes survivors will ignore the hex until they find out if it is worth doing something about too though.

I very rarely managed to get devour to 5 stacks, usually the second they see a survivor go down in one hit they are after the totem.
