as someone who plays surv though id rather vs a devour hope guy and realise i got outplayed if i didnt cleanse in time (because the mori is quick) rather than the 4 minute slugfests at 5 gens or the guys who tunnel specifically so the tunnellee cannot play a bit.
Match Making Rating. It's the skill bracket that everyone gets placed in. You start off in low MMR and go up if you keep doing well.
Silver/gold/Iri are meaningless in terms of MMR. They used to have bearing on it in the old system. Currently, your rank means nothing apart from how many BP you get on the 13th of every month. Your MMR rating is hidden.
At some point the survivors are notified it is devoured hope and that should indicate to go looking for that totem.
Don't worry about this being oppressive to people who just don't know the game well, as they'll perceive a ton of other killer perks as the same.
I very rarely managed to get devour to 5 stacks, usually the second they see a survivor go down in one hit they are after the totem.
