- Bully the killer that had a bad game.
- Boast that they are super awesome and there's nothing you can do about it.
- Get the last few points (blind killer, heal an injured survivor).
- Make sure other survivors find the exit, take a protection hit if necessary.
- To T-Bag the killer right before you leave.
- To let the killer get a couple of extra points from hitting you before you leave.
- Because you like wasting time.
I could continue.
lol people usually sit at the gates if the killer was being toxic or if the killer was fun
- Waiting to taunt the killer in regards to their victory
or
- Making sure their teammates get out safely.
If I'm playing killer and I get bodied hard I'll open one of the two exit gates and go hang out somewhere out of sight until the group leaves. I've seen enough emote spam, tea bagging, and flash light clicks to last a lifetime and frankly I'm sick of it.
If I see a teammate is possibly still being hunted by the killer or got lost and can't find the exit gate yet, my boon's ability to clear scratchmarks might boost their chances of evading and escaping.
I often see injured survivors run to the boon. Then I heal 'em up there, and then we run out.
1. i'll be "on standby" to see/think if i can go for the last save, body block, basically just protecting teammates. (or if they're potentially lost and looking for the gate) this is nothing against the killer and i am not going to tbag in such a scenario. if everyone else leaves, my job is done and i can also leave. (killer will force me out sometimes in this scenario, so i dont /wait/ wait. if everyone's here and killer is around i'll let them hit me out for extra points, too. nothing against killer here.)
2. considering going for hatch instead (obviously will leave the door if i'm not seeing or hearing the killer approach and might do a loop to check, if i dont see/hear hatch either i'll likely just leave thru door). nothing vs killer here, sometimes i just like to see if i can still manage hatch. technically not waiting at the door in such a case, but i might idle there for a short while if i need to process and decide. again, nothing against killer here i just like to challenge myself to find hatch. (good practice for scenarios where i may need hatch.)
3. to say thank you to the killer for a nice game and drop my item (usually the killer also comes to say hello or has been friendly enough previous) - if they dont come after a certain amount of time i just leave with the item, since i figure they might assume i'll tbag. i wouldn't tbag in this scenario either because i know it could upset them. the gesture is purely a thank you, and i dont want to wait through the entire timer. if the killer comes to the gate and starts looking frustrated/tbagging me/nopering me i assume they are expecting BM and will just leave, because i don't want to be rude.
if they nod at me i might assume they need help with something and will come back into the match to see what it is they need. (have had killers ask to go kick hatch for me via this method. just gives them some extra time to find it.)
4. alternate to the above - i might wait for the /entire/ timer and let myself die if i think they deserved the kill and i don't have, like, a challenge to leave. (i will offer for the killer to hook me as well, so they're not being taken hostage.) - this is to net the killer more BP in a scenario where i'm assuming they didn't get much. i'll also slow down on gens in such games because usually the killer is being fair or is clearly just having a bad day and needs less pressure. (if i see the other survivors tbagging the killer throughout the game unprovoked, especially at the start, i immediately will offer the killer to hook/kill me because of this. if they want to farm with me, grand, but i want the killer to be able to have a chance to get points too.) -- usually in THIS scenario there's not much of the timer left. i'm not afk for the entire timer in the door or something, that would be weird. if the killer is being excessively BM'd from the start of the match i'm more likely to think one of the survivors is just being toxic rather than the killer.
5. they were going out of their way to BM throughout the match, hit on hook/camp/tunnel (all at once), hostage take (ie body blocking people in the corner) and prolong the game past what typical gameplay would've allowed (ie infinite chess merchant) but we still got out, etc, so i'm standing in the door to make sure it takes just a little longer before they do that to another group of survivors. because that's no good. if you have no respect for anyone else's time, why are they expecting us to respect theirs? (same goes for AFK killers at this point - just in case its the type with the instant requeue macro thing. just means that overall there will be less matches happening with the killer going against more survivor groups. so instead of 100 matches overall, if i do this enough, maybe they only get like 90 matches in the same time. maybe not this extreme.) in this case, you are being tbagged purely as a reaction to what you did. apart from the AFK killers since they're not at the screen anyway. for AFK killers, i will just let myself die to endgame timer at this point so it takes longer for them to get to bottom tier or whatever it is they're doing.
honestly number 5 is just karma though so... like 99% of killers i don't tbag.
