1. Always focus on cutting LoS with him while in chase, avoid open chases at all costs.
2. If Trickster is camping a hook, don't, and i really mean don't even attempt trading hook at all. Trickster is the ultimate king of hook camping and trading will just end up in both unhooker and unhooked surv getting downed very fast
the knife he can use, i think it´s way too many and long time he can use them
His shots are actually not in a straight line so hitting people requires some skills. Due to his recent rework with more frequent Main Events he became more dangerous.
If a knife hit would instantly injure i would understand the critique but this looks more like you just dont know how to play against trickster.
I assure you, dealing with a good huntress is much harder than dealing with a good trickster. For trickster you have various maps that counter him as a whole alredy, you just need to hug high structures really tight. And he will never catch up to you as long as he uses the knives, forcing him into an M1 killer.
Meanwhile huntress WILL hit you at every window and every pallet if she is good. And she also has cross maps too.
That being said, most tricksters aren't that good, and if you just move a little, they will miss a good chunk of there knives.
You get a person that is really good at the game and any killer can be good. I often play trapper w/o perks and still do ok. Occasional 4K, most games end in draw 2 dead 2 alive, some games I get stomped. A lot of it comes down to what map you end up with. I'm not saying I'm really good at the game either.
Personally I hate to face him on the first situation but I can handle him decently at the second.
While having him I can say I´m not very good playing with him and what I said above does applies to my difficultty of having a good match when I decide to mostly throw knifes. Some maps you´re better going full throwing and others it´s better to mostly M1 so in the end it all comes down to RNG and the killer player skill with him.
