Which makes it kinda obvious since Trails highlights the gen and terror radius is in that area too?!
Gen is highlighted yellow. There is like 1-2 perks that do that
Gen also has Terror radius close to it.
The survivors will know what it is.
I'm looking into extending my oblivious status as a killer. I'm interested in combing such perks. Perhaps "Machine Learning" can help then.
they have anti synergy
trails is a very obvious tell but it lasts until gen is 0 or repaired enough which dispells the undetectable
unforeseen doesnt highlight gens but it lasts a static 30s and cannot be dispelled so neither can undetectable
if you run both, that means people can hear terror radius on a yellow gen which tells them youre running both perks
its basically giving survivors a free warning that unforeseen is active which counters the whole point of it, which in that by itself its an extremely good ambush perk
so running both is clown tier
Why?
Highlighted gens attract survivors like flies. If they don't touch it, undetectable until it runs out. If they approach and hear the TR, they hesitate unless they realize Unforseen. If they touch the gen, you'll know when Trail of Torment starts to cool down or hitting a skillcheck alerts you with Call of Brine. If they touch it within 30 seconds, you'll still have the undetectable from Unforseen until it ends and an alert from any skillchecks from CoB.
Is it effective? Not really. Is it a fun trap? Yes.
