The dungeon is also like, super deep. Without using the portal or some travel power it would take killer long time to move between regular ground and bottom of the dungeon..
Perhaps survivor sided, as the dungeon is pretty linear(no real forks) and long, and thus if killer is either on top or the bottom, its pretty safe to be in the other place.
There is the portal in the wall on ground level though which any killer can use (I assume survivors can as well), so survivors need to be mindful of that. Its cool we have such a thing in a map. Basically bottom of the dungeon loops back to top of ground. On ground level I think the portal looks like an inscription in the wall, no lights or anything. Im not sure is it one-way? That would make kind of sense and I didnt have a chance to test yet.
and the portals can be annoying from time to time when there is strong tiles next to them
Feels like a maze? I thought the dungeon is in essence just a linear tunnel with no forks. (I played it as the killer) There may be some obstacles but usually only 2 doors: one to go deeper and one towards ground level. Its perfectly flavorful (D&D) if it feels like maze tho.
Maybe I havent seen all variants.
I absolutely love the visuals though. Not sure about how dark the map is..
Did the game just got darker as a whole in this update? When Sadako does her jumpscare in the menu, you cant even see her face anymore. Its just black. Before the D&D update (but after unreal 5 update) her face was already just a black smudge but at least you could see some skin. Before unreal 5 you could see her face quite clearly.
In short: Strong teams will excel, weak ones will fail even harder. Not even up to the killer to be honest.
Btw is it just me or is playing this map with headphones very confusing? I can't tell whether I am hearing a gen underground or on the other side of the tower? It all just sounds off.
The map both creepy and cozy. Some map area like a wizard or sorceror room ,another like a toirture chamber - literally - the armors on the corridor has purple glowing eyes and their head follows you.
