Pop and pain res
Do you think those perk are goung to be nerf again after the patch. Even with the nerf i think those are still the best regression perk a killer can use. With bhvr track record in term of nerf most of the time they nerf what is use often and not what is strong. So if those perk are still popular after the patch you think we will more nerf?

aren't they nerfing them by just like 5% or something? it's not necessarily insignificant but it almost is. those will likely still remain the best and most used killer perks.

I wish they'd stop nerfing literally the only perks worth using, and instead buff the utterly useless ones. There's a reason everyone's using the top perks, and it's not because they're giga-amazing. It's because they're literally the only ones that do ANYTHING.

The pain res nerf would have been acceptable if they removed the tokens from the perk and make it go back to having infinite uses.

i agree and disagree. i agree that they're the only perks that do anything but i also think that pop/pain res can feel very oppressive and unfun to play against. like imagine your gen getting slammed with pain res, killer slides over and pops the gen, you get back on the gen that now had all its progress removed and work on it for a minute, someone gets hooked, then u get slammed again with pain resonance, killer slides over and pops it again. it's like some of these matchups should actually be really close nail-biter games but there ends up just being so much regression applied that the killer ends up way ahead.

The 5% nerf would be fine if pain res was not scourge hook related and 5% could be the difference between a gen getting complete in your face or not and if you use all 4 token that a 20% nerf.

The pop nerf is the worse of the 2 in my opinion it got nerf by 10% and even now by itself its not worth running you need pain res with it so you can buy enough for you to walk to the gen.

They've done nothing to dissuade the use of them so it's very likely that they will see another nerf due to popularity.

They will remain as the best and popular perks on the killer side. But it is not because they are extremely good or anything, but because other perks are awful. If they really want to shake the meta up and lower the usage rate of certain perks, they should buff other perks, like predator, genetic limit, fire up, etc.

Probably will get nerfed if most killers still run it. I find it funny when dev always nerfed something but didn't scale other stuff to compensate it. Hopefully it will changed in future because of the new players consultants.

Even having only 4 tokens, pain res is giving you an extra 80% of a gen, assuming it doesn't hit stuff that is almost zero or zero. That is a lot of time bought for doing something you were ALREADY going to be doing. It will still be a good perk, so will pop.

ruin buff when?? all joking aiside im prob still gonna be using these perks after nerf
apart from very niche builds on certains killers its the only way to play the game without five gens poping in less then 2 mins.

Those perks are really good, but they don't want to shake the meta. They want more diverse builds.
They are buffing the killers instead of perks to balance the game because killers should not be carried by their perks. Clown, Billy Hun, the twins, Trapper, Doctor, Huntress ad a few others got buffs this year.

Pain resonance was already heavily nerfed by introducing tokens for it and more conditions. I doubt they revisit it as annoying as it is. (Ah, the good old days when it was time based and you could hook survs again and again plus get their location. :steamfacepalm: )

Pop, yes, the 5% deduction will stand. But I fear this won't be the last of it since the devs always shoot for popular and "overused" perks. Pop is just pretty straight forward in terms of its mechanic and popular because of that. They should rather revisit other gen regression perks and ask themselves why those aren't used more.

Making killer use diverse build is close to impossible when the dev dont want perk to synergise with a killer power.

Buffing killer is close to worthless too because most of them are bad cause they lack movement speed or lethality like trapper when you look at his kit he should be decent he can block loop with trap and that should make the chase easy the issue he need to get his trap and a swf counter his entire power or just a lone wolf that follow him around just so he can disarm his trap making the killer a m1 killer that cant get anyone before all gen are done.

gen slowdown meta in general is the only meta killers will have even after the patch, no matter how much they nerf gen slowdown perks.
Speaks enough about what is actually the biggest problem in this game.

If you have to rely on those perks to win then it's a literal skill issue, I rock 0 slowdown and just meme perks and 4k almost everygame
