Opinion On The Dredge

Hey! Just want to know everyone's opinion the killer Dredge!

Very dependent on Nightfall and good locker placement, his anti-loop is weak. My favorite thing about him is his cosmetics, otherwise Sadako and Unknown are more consistent.

He's weak.

His teleport is dreadfully slow and not worth it unless in nightfall. Nightfall otherwise does nothing unless vs the very worst survivors.

His antiloop is not great and can be thwarted by good survivors or merely very strong loops.

He is the loudest killer in the game with that obscene "woosh" noise.


On the plus side he has some really cool skins including the snowman , misfit toys and the new Iron Maiden skin.

Mostly utter garbage. He's exceptionally map, addon and perk dependent. Without a good build and map RNG, you'll be a basic M1 killer with the loudest audio cue ever.

He has a lot of aura reading options (if not the best character for information in general), you can set he up in way where you pretty much know where everyone is all the time. Strong mobility obviously even with bad lockers, only second to Sadako in that regard.

The only real problem he has is his chase power, which to be fair is not just M1 cuz he close loops with a teleport, but smart survivors will usually juke you anyway.

I would not say tier 3, he is comfortably chilling somewhere in the middle.

Garbage - but fun garbage on low MMR. Unlike other killers dredge even got stomped on by survs at release which usually takes 2-3 weeks.

hes alr i wouldnt play him cuz i find him frustrating to play especially becuase of that load ass fking vacuum cleaner not sure what the point taking away his terror radius in night fall is when u can hear him from so far away pretty much always know where he is that and the fact that hes map dependent really puts me off so yea visually prob one of the best killer but ability wise hes trash

Dredge is my go to killer and honestly, i can almost always get a 3-4k except against good SWF and that's without tunneling and camping. I have a lot of fun on him regardless.

I'm not a fan. His design is stellar but I just flat out don't like playing as him or versing him. The locker teleportation is fine and all but the Nightfall thing just feels like a step too far.

i like the nightfall mechanic and i hope we get more eldritch abominations as killers like dredge and unknown

maybe give hillbilly a werehorse halloween legendary skin?

There is no correlation between "fun" and killer strength. I can go on a baby DBD account with no perks and win 30 games in a row.

If you think he's "strong" then you're probably beating up on baby survivors. No offense but he just has a very low potential skill ceiling.

Never have you ever seen an "anything goes" tournament and the killer is like you know what? I'm going to pick Dredge because he's so good. Meanwhile the enemy team picks Nurse because one of these things is not like the other. Nurse and Blight can actually *mostly* compete with an "all in" formula. Dredge isnt even a possible consideration.

When you are watching a tournament and the killer is Dredge it's because the survivors have to play with at least one hand tied behind their back.
